Denki loves a lot of things; like butterflies or chocolate truffles. He likes a lot of things too, like Pokémon or fruit punch.
He also knows when he dislikes things.
For some reason, after hearing the word friends slip out of Shinsou's lips, he has never felt so unsatisfied. He made it back into his room, the scent of tea still on his breath as he heaved a heavy breath— before grabbing the nearest thing to him and tossing it with all his strength. Turns out, he didn't realize that his creeper plushie would end up a victim of his frustration but he seethed as he just fell to the floor and let out a childish whine.
Denki didn't even know why, in gods name, why he was experiencing such an emotion— but he knew that he was upset and he was not willing to put up with such emotions. He's been wanting him and Shinsou to be friends; that was initially his main goal, to seek friendship with Shinsou.
So why did it feel so unsatisfying?
The blonde rises on his knees and spots a treacherous black bag on his desk, choosing to stare at it for a while with an empty expression.
Sour gummy octopus, berry mix.
Oddly enough, it doesn't sound enticing, maybe sickening if Denki stared at it long enough— yet here he was, reaching for it and tearing it open savagely like a rabid animal.
This is what he gets, for bottling up his emotions and now he's sitting on the floor, criss-cross apple sauce, chewing on his gummies tastelessly, blasting music through his headphones.
The singer's voice has never felt so satisfying, fulfilling a false sense of satisfaction in Denki as he bites into the candy like a spoiled child.
His phone rings with a familiar beat, one that the blonde recognizes as he offers a glance to the electronic device.
It's Kendo, a familiar person comes to mind and he decides whether or not to answer. After a few seconds, he clicks the green button and pauses his music— bringing the phone to his ear and listening to what his peer has to say.
"Hello?"
"Hey Kami!" Her voice is pretty and the blonde has always been interested in her, though that infatuation isn't present as he hums with contentment. "I need ya' for something later today."
With a quick glance at the Pikachu themed clock on his wall, Denki mentally dies that he's pulled an all nighter as the numbers read 06:48 am.
"What is it for?" He questions, raising a curious brow as he blinks at his legs.
"I'll tell you when you get here, I'll expect you at the Shinjuku shopping center yeah?"
"A little far, but for you I'll make the trip. What time?"
"Around 4, I know your morning classes end rather early."
He hums with acknowledgement, chewing on another gummy.
"Give me a hint at least, I don't wanna go into this blind."
"Okay fine! Me and my friends are setting Shinsou on a blind date."
