Today Hitoshi will find himself in the main room, his form hiding in the kitchen with that damned jug of mango juice and not looking at the vending machine - instead; he watched a boy with chunky headphones and a bright laptop zone in with fingers clicking repeatedly on the keyboard.

Obviously, he could obviously just walk away - and he could obviously go to sleep(he knows he can't.)

Yet as he finished his cup of juice and balanced it intricately onto the pile of dishes, that no one has cleaned, and meticulously stepped towards the other.

From what he'd known earlier, maybe it's 3:56 am right now, maybe 4, but he noticed the blonde locks that almost looked golden.

"O-oh hiya Shinsou!" Rats, Kaminiari caught him.

"What the hell are you doing up? Someone like you seem to pass out as soon as you get to the dorms." Hitoshi spoke, his brow raising as the blonde tugged the headphones down - rain sounds echoing softly from the tech.

"I.. I'm kind of scared to sleep. At least tonight I am."

Hitoshi blinked. He also took a seat beside the other, completely contradicting his 'i don't need friends - they disappoint me' speech.

"What the heck does that even mean?"

"Think of it as.. if I sleep - I'll miss out on something important. Maybe the sleep paralysis demon will lick my knee I don't know, I'm just... paranoid?"

Hitoshi watched as Kaminari's lips sculpted the words paranoid, the daze in his eyes growing tired as the blonde continued with the relentless tapping.

Beside Kaminari were two empty cans of energy and a steaming cup of  coffee, and for Kaminari who was literally an constantly-charging battery, would seem to be enough to get him hyper.

"Ah.. caffeine doesn't work on me, if that's what you were wondering about." Denki had followed the insomniac's eyes, nonchalantly siping his coffee.

To Hitoshi, Kaminari looked tired - maybe even more tired than himself, but the more he watched the other, he wanted to sit down and maybe have a conversation.

Ok what happened to no friends.. like at all?
