"Mags. Magdalene." Someone whispered, shaking my shoulder.

"What?" I replied grouchily.

"Get up. We're here."

"Mmm.. carry me." I whined, holding one arm out and rubbing my eye with the other.

"No chance. We wouldn't want Edmund to get the wrong idea now would we?" He asked.

"What idea is that?" I asked sarcastically, opening my eyes. As soon as they adjusted to the light that was pouring in the window, I was met with a pair of sparkling, blue eyes.

"I thought you were dead for awhile." He laughed, standing up straight and holding out his hand. "You slept the whole way."

I rolled my eyes and grasped his hand at the same time. "Where are Edmund, Lucy, and Susan?"

"Already on the platform. Edmund took your bag."

"Oh." I nodded, following him out of the compartment and towards the exit. He turned around and held my arm as I stepped down on the platform. "Do I look that uncoordinated to you?" I asked playfully.

"Not completely. I just didn't know if you were still hazy from your long nap, and besides, it would be completely ungentlemanly of me if I didn't help a lady in need."

I rolled my eyes once again and replied, "I wasn't a lady in need."

"Will you just say thank you and get over it."

"Fine." I sighed, "Thank you kind sir."

"If I was wearing a hat I would certainly tip it." He exclaimed.

I laughed, shoving his arm and walking toward Edmund.

"Good morning sleeping beauty." He smiled as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

" Thanks for getting my bag."

"Not a problem. Peter offered." He whispered in my ear. "But I told him to just wake you up instead. You can certainly thank me later. "

I glanced up at him, but before I had a chance to respond, Lucy was running toward her mother.

"Mom!" Susan cried when she reached us.

"We've missed you so much." Peter smiled, taking his turn to hug their mother.

"Oh, I've missed you all as well." She replied, stepping forward and engulfing Edmund in a hug. "Little Maggie! Look at you!" She exclaimed, holding me at arms length and looking me up and down. "You look so gorgeous!"

I returned her hug and said thank you. "How's your mother, dear?" She asked as we exited the train station and made our way to the car.

"Doing well, thanks." I smiled, sliding in the back seat in between Susan and Lucy. As soon as Peter and Edmund were settled in the front, the car pulled off with a soft jolt.

"How have things been mother?" Susan asked quietly.

"Good, good. How's school going? I hate how far away it is, but they're very good schools, Saint Finbars and Henden House."

"Good." Peter replied, nonchalantly.

"Are you sure peter? No problems in behavior?"

"None at all." He shrugged.

"None?" Edmund whispered, earning a smack to the back of the head. "Ow!" He groaned.

"That's very peculiar. I just received another letter informing me of a fight you were involved in with a group of boys. I begrudgingly added it to my collection."

Peter grimaced. "You have a collection?"

"That makes ten, peter. Ten letters I've received this term about fighting. Ten!"

"I know, and I'm sorry, really. It's not like I walk up to these boys looking for an altercation. They're always the ones that start it. Right mags?" He glanced over his shoulder at me.

"No no no! Don't you bring her into this Peter Pevensie. "

I mouthed sorry at him before looking down at my hands, wishing I could melt into the seat.

"We'll finish this conversation later." Mrs Pevensie sighed. "It's times like these I wish the schools were coed. Your sisters and Magdalene would be wonderful influences for you."

"Mags sure is, but I'm not so sure about the other two."

"Hey!" Lucy and Susan cried at the same time, while I tried to suppress a laugh.

"Maggie? Are you okay? You look flushed." Susan asked.

"What? Oh.. I'm fine. Just A little hot, is all."

"We'll be there soon dear." Mrs Pevensie smile back at me. I nodded in response and laid my head back, praying this ride would be over soon.

***i wasn't sure what the names of the schools were and I can't seem to find them anywhere, so I guessed what they were based on what the boy said in the beginning of prince caspian.
