"Wake up! Wake up!" A shrill scream rang out throughout the house. My door flung open moments later and through my hazy eyes, I saw a small silhouette dive on my bed.

"Maggie! It's Christmas morning! Santa came and everything! Come on!"

I groaned, sitting up and running my fingers through my messy hair. "Lucy. "

"Hurry!" She screeched once more and then she was gone, as quickly as she'd appeared. I got up slowly and smoothed out my night gown, laughing as I heard Edmund gripping about it being to early. I ran a comb through my curls quickly and made my way towards the living room.

The tree was standing tall in the middle of the room, brightly lit by all the colorful lights that enveloped the tree warmly. Susan and Edmund sat on either side of Lucy, laughing as she shook a large, blue box wildly in front of her face.

"Good morning dear." Mrs Pevensie smiled, as she handed me a cup of warm tea and took a seat next to Susan. "Won't you sit?"

"Of course!" I exclaimed. " I was just wondering where Peter was?"

"Here." He called from behind me. I spun around and giggled a bit as I took in the sight. His blonde hair was horribly messy and he wore a crooked grin as he rubbed his eyes with one hand. "Morning." He yawned.

"I'd say. " I laughed. He looked at me funny, eyebrows raised. "Well I sure wouldn't want to see you out in public like that."

He laughed tiredly and pulled me over to an empty spot near the tree. In a matter of seconds, Lucy had tore through almost every present, excluding hers from me. She looked at me expectantly and smiled a toothy grin.

"Merry Christmas Lu." I smiled, handing her a small red and green wrapped box. She held it gingerly and opened it, slowly pulling out the silver charm bracelet. Gasping, she threw her arms around me and whispered, "Thank you so much mags! This is the best present ever!"

The present exchanging went on for a while longer and everyone seemed extremely pleased with all their gifts. Me especially, with my new blazer from Susan, who always seemed to know when I was need of one and a new hand bag from Lucy, matching the blazer perfectly. Edmund had given me a new chess set, claiming mine was old and that was why he couldn't ever win and Mrs Pevensie had given me a stunning necklace. I was thankful for all the gifts and would never ask for more, but part of me wondered why Peter hadn't given me a gift, not that he needed to, but still it was peculiar.

"Mags." He whispered, quietly. I turned to him and smiled slightly, raising my eyebrows. "Come with me a second."

I nodded, slipping out of the room, seemingly unnoticed, behind Peter. "Where are we going?" I asked him impatiently as he we hastily made our way down the hall.

"To get your present." He replied, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"My present is outside?"

"Yes, now be quiet." I rolled my eyes and followed him obediently. When we reached the front door he flung it open and stopped abruptly, causing me to crash into him. "Close your eyes. "

"No."

He turned around, rolling his eyes. "Close them." I shook my head. "Please."

"Why?"

"Do you want your present or not?"

"Fine. "I grumbled, closing my eyes and jutting out my arms. I heard him chuckle as he grasped my wrist and tugged me out into the snow. "My slippers are very thin you know. "

"So are mine." He replied. I could almost feel the smirk on his face. We walked for a bit before stopping suddenly. "Open your eyes." Slowly, I opened them and nearly gasped as I took in the sight before me.
