Not much later we were all settled around a warm fire, built by trumpkin, trying to get some sleep. I faintly heard Lucy and Susan whispering my name. I rolled over and came face to face with them.
"What's wrong?"
Susan sighed and looked from me to Lucy. "Why do you think I didn't see Aslan?"
Lucy looked startled. "You mean-you.. believe me!"
She shrugged again, "Well we got across the gorge. I just wish we could have a little help, I mean we were sent here because some prince blew my horn and we have no clue how to get to him. It's very tiring."
"You are happy to be here, aren't you?"
"Im not sure." And with that she rolled on her back and closed her eyes, leaving a baffled Lucy on the brink of tears.

I felt a hard object on my shoulder and I squeezed my eyes shut, rolling away.
"Maggie! Get up!" Edmund yelled.
"Why?" I groaned, sitting up slowly, noticing everyone was gone. "What happened?"
I took his awaiting hand and rose to my feet. "Lucy and Peter are gone and Susan heard something." He pointed towards the thick patch of trees. We ran as fast as we could, shoving branches out of our way.
"Peter!" We heard Susan yell as we reached them. I gasped. Peter and this dark haired boy had their swords pointed at each others faces in a dueling manner.
"Prince Caspian?" Peter asked confused.
"Yes. And who are you?" Both were panting hard and it wasn't long after Susan called his name that the boy looked at the inscription on the sword and a look of realization crossed his face. "High king Peter?"
Peter stepped forward. "I believe you called. "
He shook his head "Yes but, I thought you'd be older."
Peter looked miffed. "Well if you like... we could come back in a few years."
"No! No it's alright. It's just, your not exactly what I expected." His eyes roamed over each of us, lingering on Susan a little longer.
Edmund stepped toward me and replied, "Neither are you." Giving a large minetar a weird look.
"We've anxiously awaited your return my liege!" A new voice caught my attention.
"Oh my gosh he is so cute." Lucy whispered, looking down at the small brown mouse in the suit of armor.
"Who said that!" He yelled, whipping out his sword with his tail and waving it around.
"Sorry." She giggled softly, giving the mouse an apologetic smile.
"Oh! Your majesty.... With the greatest respect. I do believe courteous, courageous, or chivalrous might better suit a knight of Narnia." He returned her smile before sheathing his sword.
"Well it's nice to know some of you can handle a blade." Peter nodded to the mouse causing me to beam.
"Yes indeed and I've put it to good use securing weapons for your army sire. "
He smiled and looked to Caspian.
"Good. We're going to need every sword we can get. "Caspian immediately held out Peters sword. "Well I guess you'll be needing your back then. "
I noticed the dazed expression on Susan face. "Pretty thick accent he's got, huh? I didn't realize the Telemarines were from the Spanish decent."
She lazily shrugged and smiled after Caspian as he followed Peter and the large group of Narnians that had came with him, through the trees.
"Wow." Lucy exclaimed. "That's the look you give Peter!"
I rolled my eyes and smacked a hand over my face.
