"How'd it go?" Susan rushed towards us as we entered the Howe, having just returned from speaking with Miraz.

"Good. He agreed to the battle." Edmund smiled and nodded to Peter.

"Excellent. Tomorrow morning we fight."

The night was restless. No one really got much sleep, for there was too much on their minds.

I decided to go find Peter and the task proved easier than I thought. "Hi." I smiled, walking up to small room in which a few horses were being kept. There was a long hall leading out of the room that lead straight outside into the middle of the woods.

"What are you doing here?"

He shrugged. "I heard you were going with Susan and Lucy."

"I am. Incase anything were to happen, I want to be there."

He nodded and patted one of the horses. "I understand. I also understand that I could never make you do anything you don't want to do, but knowing your going out there in the middle of a war terrifies me."

"Well your leading an army. I guess that makes us even with equal levels of terror."

He smiled and hugged me briefly just as Caspian lead Susan and Lucy in the room. "How nice of you to see them off."

Peter smirked and lead me towards one of the horses. "She's very gentle."

I nodded and placed my foot firmly into the stirrup, swinging my leg over. "I've ridden a horse before."

He smiled. "Why does that not surprise me?" He helped Lucy up before the sound of his name being called rang out. He sighed and hugged Susan quickly. "Be careful."

"You too!" Lucy exclaimed.

He winked at me and rushed out of the room. Susan rolled her eyes and lifted herself on the horse, settling down in front of Lucy.

"Oh." Caspian exclaimed, pulling out the white horn. The top of the horn was shaped like a lions mouth and the entire thing was perfectly polished. "You might be needing this."

She smiled. "Keep it. You might need to call me again." With that, she snapped the reigns and I mimicked her actions, laughing along with Lucy as our horses soared down the hall toward the exit.

"You might need to call me again?" Lucy shouted, her voice echoing off the walls.

"Oh, shut up!"
