"Pete." Edmund called as he rushed over to us. "You better come quickly." We stole one last glance at each other before running behind Edmund to the front part of the grassy ledge, over looking the front of the Howe.

I gasped in shock at the large number of Telemarine soldiers that were beginning their descent towards us. They marched in perfect time, left foot, then right. The large cannons and catapults were being wheeled along behind the first group of soldiers. I looked down and saw the Narnian's were flooding out of the front entrance, hoping to get a better look at the army.

Some female Centaurs pulled their children behind them and held there heads high. Although, if you were to look them in the eye, the fear would be evident. All of the soldiers wore steel masks that covered their entire faces, matching the suits of armor they displayed menacingly, and the Shields they held in front of them as they marched, even the horses wore armor.

They all came to a dead halt about halfway in between the woods and the Howe, and a single white horse rode to the head of the group. Upon it sat Caspian's uncle, the one that started this whole mess, the one that wanted to annihilate all narnians, the one by the name of Miraz.

Peter tore his eyes away from him and looked at Edmund. "Inside."

We both followed him straight the stone table room, the room we found ourselves in quite a bit. Trumpkin and a few others joined us and soon enough, we were making more battle plans.

"Cakes and keddledrums." Trumpkin shook his head after hearing Peters plan. "That's your next big move! Sending a little girl-" He pointed his finger at Lucy and walked closer to her. "Into the darkest parts of the forest, alone?!"

Peter set his jaw and pursed his lips, clearly upset at the lack of trust. "It's our only chance."

"And she won't be alone." Susan jumped in.

Trumpkin looked at her and stopped in front of Lucy, lowering his voice and calming himself down. "No. Haven't enough of us died already?" He sounded so vulnerable.

"Nikabrik was my friend too." The badger spoke up for the first time in ages. "But he lost hope. Queen Lucy hasn't and neither have I." I smiled and heard a sword being drawn behind me, causing me to spin around.

"For Aslan." Reepeechipee, the brave and noble mouse, held his sword high.

"For Aslan." A large bear sounded on my other side in a deep low voice. He sounded like a child with an unusually deep voice and I couldn't help but giggle.

Peter and Trumpkin locked eyes momentarily before Trumpkin shook his head in defeat. "Then I'm going with you."

She smiled at him and placed her small hand on his shoulder. "No. We need you here."

"We have to find a way to hold them off until Lucy and Susan get back."

Peter said, looking to Caspian as he stepped forward. "If I may?" Peter nodded to him. "Miraz maybe a tyrant and a murderer, but as King he is subject to the traditions and expectations of his people. There is one in particular they may buy us time."
