*************************************"Susan!Maggie!" We heard Edmund shout as he ran up to us, panting slightly.
"What's wrong?" Susan asked.
"You mean other than the fact that he's out of shape?" I joked.
"Ha ha. We're here." He smiled, turning and jogging back to the group. Susan and I shared a look before running to catch up.
"Where exactly is 'here'?" Susan panted as he finally caught up.
"And I'm out of shape." Edmund mumbled.
"Aslan's Howe." Peter replied, gazing at the odd temple-like structure in front of us. "This is where they've been securing the weapons."
I nodded along with Susan and studied the building a little more. It really reminded me of some sort of pyramid.
The sun shining down on the woods surrounding it cast a beautiful orange glow on everything, including the Narnians that were lined up waiting to greet their kings and queens. Centaurs lined the walkway, both young and old, holding their swords up high.
We reached the Narnian's and the four Pevensie's began to walk down the walk way. Peter stopped and reached back for my hand. I blushed and grasped his hand in mine, trying to ignore the whispers.
His fingers locked with mine and tugged me closer. "Well I guess our hug could've last longer after all." I raised an eyebrow.
"You said we had to stop because the people would talk. Their talking now for sure."
I giggled and gripped his arm tighter as we walked by a scary looking dwarf. His black eyes and gray hair caught my eye more than anything.
"Don't worry. The Narnias are just trying to figure out who you are." I shrugged as we reached the doorway. "He looked a little evil. "
He smiled and pulled me closer. "I'll protect you."
