We reached the bridge that the Telemarines had built over the river at the same time as Miraz's army. I watched as Glozell froze on his horse and glanced back, realizing the Narnians had them surrounded.

Laughing, he pointed his sword forward and cried "Charge!" I flinched as they all came running full speed at us. Lucy slowly pulled out her dagger, as did I, and we held each other's hands.

Aslan stepped forward just as they were about to reach us and let out a roar so loud that the water rippled. Everyone froze and the men that were walking through the water began to look panicked as the water circled them in an unnatural way.

The water came together suddenly and rose up in the form a ginormous man. It bent down and lifted the bridge in one swift motion, shaking off everyone but Glozell. I was in complete awe. I could see straight the clear form, yet it's facial features looked perfect. It opened its mouth wide and tossed the bridge, and Glozell, down its throat.

Seconds later, it flatted back out and the current slowed to its usual pace. The remaining soldiers pulled themselves out of the water and handed or tossed the Narnians their weapons in surrender.

Lucy and I smiled as her siblings and Caspian made there way across the water and climbed out before us. Peter smiled at me before dropping down with his sword in the dirt like the rest of his siblings.

"Rise kings and Queens of Narnia." Aslan spoke as all three of them stood.

"All of you." Aslan chuckled down at Caspian who was still kneeling.

He looked up slowly. "I do not think that I am ready."

"And it is for that reason alone that I know you are." Caspian smiled and rose to feet. We all looked behind them as the sound of a small trumpet rang out. Four mice walked straight up to Aslan ccarrying a leaf with Reepeecheep on it.

Lucy gasped and immediately dropped one drop of the red liquid down his throat. Seconds later, he coughed and stood up. "Thank you!" He stumbled a bit before reaching behind him. "My tail! My tail is gone! Oh Aslan. It has a pleasure serving you, but as of now I must hand over my blade. For without a tail, I am half the mouse I once was."

Aslan chuckled and blew his breath on Reepeecheep who watched, amazed as a new tail grew instantly in the old ones place. "Thank you! I will cherish it always!"

Lucy nodded to Aslan as Trumpkin walked slowly over and kneeled before the lion. "Ah. So this your dear little friend I've heard so much about."

Trumpkin flinched and leaned back as Aslan roared in his face. "Do you see him now?" Lucy giggled.

"I will leave you for a while." Aslan nodded to us and began to make his way around to everyone else.

"Where is-" Lucy was cut off by Edmund.

"Miraz? Well, in our little attempt to buy you two some time Peter clearly came out victorious where as Miraz-"

We both nodded and smiled as Susan tended to Caspian's cut. "Are you all right?" I faintly heard Lucy ask Edmund, as I turned to Peter.

"Well done."

He smiled at me and wrapped his arms around my shoulders. "You too."

I sighed and pulled back, running my fingers down his a cut on his cheek. "That looks bad."

He shook his head. "It's fine. I told you you had a purpose for being here."

I frowned. "And what would that be?"

"You found Aslan. He doesn't show himself to anyone, you know. That's why we originally wanted Lucy to go alone."

I raised my eyebrows, my mind swirling. "Really!"

He laughed and hugged me again, kissing my temple. "Yes, really."
