With excitement bubbling in your stomach, you approached the trailer of your fiancé of 4 years. He was a known actor and he had been in Vancouver for the last five months to film his newest movie. You hadn't seen him in those five months and you had missed him incredibly much. All you had been able to do were Skyping and phone calls. And loads of texts of course.

You had stayed in England since your job was there and you couldn't leave the kitten your fiancé had gotten you for your birthday last year.

You spotted the trailer standing in the back of the set and you bit your lip to hide the butterflies you felt all through your body. Upon arrival on the set, you had asked his assistant where you could find him and she had informed you that he had gone to his trailer to rest after an intense scene he had filmed this morning.

Originally, it was your plan to arrive earlier this morning to surprise him while he was filming, but your flight had had a delay, which caused you to be later. It wouldn't change the surprise though.

You debated on whether to knock before entering, but you decided that it wouldn't be as big of a surprise if he just opened the door. You took the handle in your hand and pushed it down, pulling the door open.

You stepped inside but instantly heard the sounds that caused your stomach to turn. Clothing was scattered through the trailer and you found your fiancé and his female costar on the bed, intertwined and naked.

You dropped your phone that you had been holding in your hand and the thud caused your fiancé and the girl to shoot up. "Shit, Y/N!" he exclaimed and you shook your head, fighting back the tears. He didn't deserve it.

You took your phone, checked for cracks before you turned around and walked out of the trailer.

"Y/N, wait up!" he shouted but you showed no intention of slowing down. Your chest felt like it was on fire and you could hardly breathe as you tried to remove the picture of him and the woman in bed from your brain.

He grabbed your arm and forced you to stop. You turned around to face him. "What?" you snapped angrily.

"It was not what it looked like, we were rehearsing-"

"Rehearsing?! Without clothes?! You have the nerve to make excuses? I can't fucking believe you," you sneered.

"Y/N, please listen to me. I can't lose you," he pleaded.

"You should've thought of that before you jumped into bed with her," you coldly said before taking the ring he had given to you after proposing and harshly slammed it against his chest. He was just in time to catch it before it fell to the floor. "We're over, Aidan."

You turned away from him and allowed your tears to flow. You fled the set and used your phone to call Tom, your best friend. He had also been filming in Vancouver, on a different movie though, and you had never been happier that he was so close to you. "Y/N, hey," his cheery voice said as he answered your call.

"Tom, can you come pick me up?" you sobbed.

"Whoah, what's wrong?" he instantly asked.

"Please, Tom." You could hardly see where you were going as your vision was completely blurred. You pushed through the crowd at the train station before you sank down next to the stairs, hugging your knees close to your chest.

"Okay, just tell me where you are," he said, his voice softening.

"The train station," you sniffed. You prayed no one would ask you if you were okay because all you wanted was your best friend.

"I'm on my way. Just calm down, okay? Whatever happened, you'll be alright," he said before ending the call.

You closed your eyes and held your phone to your chest, trying your hardest to keep your breathing steady. The train station's intercom blared several announcements but you barely registered them until you felt a hand on your knee. You looked up to meet Tom's hazel eyes that were filled with worry.

You got up and wrapped your arms around his torso, hugging him tightly and burying your face in the fabric of his hoodie where you let out all of your emotions. His hand rubbed up and down your back in an attempt to calm you down.

After what felt like hours, you pulled back. "Wanna go somewhere quieter?" he asked and you nodded. "Okay, let's dry those tears first." He used the cuff of his hoodie to wipe the tears from your face and you smiled softly. He kept his arm around your shoulders as he took you to a pub down the street.

You sat at the bar and Tom ordered you two hot chocolates. You numbly stirred the steaming drink as your head went over the situation of just an hour ago. "Can you tell me what happened?" Tom asked softly.

You let out a long, shivering sigh. "I went to Aidan's trailer to surprise him, but when I got there I found him in bed with his costar," you mumbled.

"What?" Tom snarled.

You nodded softly and you had to bite your tongue to not break out in another set of sobs. "So I broke off the engagement."

"Yeah, you better," he grumbled.

You pressed the home button of your phone and saw Aidan had called seventeen times, texted you about 50 times, and he even tried Skyping you.

"Delete those messages and block his number," Tom ordered you plainly.

"But-"

"No buts. Do as I say and also cleanse your social media from him. You don't need those reminders."

Your finger hovered over the screen before you decided to listen. You deleted everything that could remind you of him. You blocked him on every platform possible. It felt like you were deleting your whole life from the past four years because Aidan was in almost every picture you had posted. Every holiday, every birthday, every casual day. All of it was gone. All that was left was a picture of you and your friends, your siblings, and of course a couple of pictures with Tom.

"I know it's hard, Y/N. But he's a real dick and he doesn't deserve you. He has no idea what he lost. It's gonna hurt for a long while because four years is not nothing. You'll find someone else someday, but for now, bottoms up." He held up his mug and you managed to crack a small smile as you raised your mug as well, clanking it against his and taking a sip.

"Thank you, Tom. I don't know what I would've done without you," you mumbled softly.

"Of course, darling. You're my best friend," he smiled, placing a hand on your shoulder and giving it a squeeze. "Wanna stay in my trailer tonight?"

You nodded. "Yeah, I'd like that."
