I swear to everything I am
That man was nearly crying

TomHolland1996
Because he was buying pads for his wife?

y/n l/n
Yep
I didn't know what to do or what to say

TomHolland1996
I once saw a woman buy a pack of sweets looking around like she was buying drugs
It was really weird

y/n l/n
You saw me in the future
Buying junk food while I shouldn't

TomHolland1996
I can totally see that

y/n l/n
Is that an insult or a compliment?

TomHolland1996
That's a trick question, isn't it?

y/n l/n
:D

You there?

TomHolland1996
Yeah, sorry

y/n l/n
You okay?

TomHolland1996
I'm fine
I was just thinking

y/n l/n
About?

TomHolland1996
You

y/n l/n
Ahw
You flatter me

TomHolland1996
I actually wanted to ask you something

y/n l/n
Should I be scared?

TomHolland1996
Do you maybe wanna go out with me?
I love talking to you on here but I really want to meet you, you know?

y/n l/n
Wow
I don't know what to say...

TomHolland1996
How about yes?

y/n l/n
Okay
I would love to, Tom

TomHolland1996
Really?
I mean, great
Cool
:)

You let out a long shivering breath as you re-read the messages between you and Tom. You had met him on Twitter after you had jokingly sent him a message one night. You only never expected him to actually respond. You had started off with a casual couple of messages every once in a while, to endless conversations every single night. You never actually said good night to him, the conversation would end whenever either of you fell asleep.

You loved talking to him, but you weren't sure if you were ready to meet him in person yet. On the other hand, you couldn't wait to meet him. You wanted nothing more than to hug him and talk to him all night in person, but you were scared of how he was going to react once he saw you.

You were partially paralysed. From your waist down, nothing worked. It had happened in a car accident. Doctors said that you were lucky to even be alive, but you hadn't really felt alive ever since you got out of the hospital.

Your entire life had changed. You were in a wheelchair for most of the day, you had a service dog named Sailor who helped you do the things you couldn't, and your entire apartment had been adapted so you could live a semi-normal life. Your next door neighbour was your nurse who checked in on you every day to make sure you were okay and helped you shower. You had been in a wheelchair for almost 2 years and talking to Tom online made you feel protected, in a way. He had no idea you were disabled and now you were regretting that you never told him.
