Chapter 15

Monday
(Tina wakes up from her alarm and then grabs a pillow and starts hitting Alena)
Tina: wake up, wake up, wake up!! We are going to universal today!!
Alena: (opens her eyes) would you calm down your acting like a kid on Christmas morning
Tina: this is better then Christmas, let's go!
(Clare wakes up from the screaming)
Clare: as excited as I am to go to the park, why am I being woken up at (looks at her phone) eight thirty in the morning
Tina: because if we need to take full advantage of the park so get up!
(Dani and Sophia walk into the room)
Dani: so this is what all the screaming is about
Sophia: you would think someone was dying
Tina: are the guys up yet?
Dani: yes and if we want to get to the park early then start getting ready
Tina: okay!
Dani: okay meet us in the kitchen, I am making pancakes
Alena: okay mom
(Dani and Sophia walk out of the room)
Clare's pov
Aunt Dani and Sophia left and I wanted to pull the sheets over my head but Tina kept screaming at Alena and I to get up, I swear if you didn't know she was fourteen you would think she was ten by the way she was acting. I love her but in this moment I want to kill her.

Tina: guys come on we need to go
Clare: Tina if you don't shut up I am going to stuff this pillow down your throat
Alena: I'll help
Tina: I am going to shower and when I get back you two better be out of bed (grabs clothes and walks to the bathroom)
Alena: are you going to shower?
Clare: what's the point, we are going to get all sweaty anyway
Alena: true
(Clare climbs out of the bunk bed and walks over to her suitcase)
Clare's pov
So because we are in Florida it's going to be hot as hell outside and we are going to be walking around and waiting in lines so the best bet is to wear as little clothing as possible and thankfully the only hickey that's visible is the one on my neck which I can cover with makeup. So i put on my black micro tube top with light blue shorts with my black and white sneakers and for my hair I decided on a high ponytail, Alena went with a regular blue crop top with some high waisted jeans and sneakers and Tina wore a white crop top with black high waisted shorts and sneakers, and soon we were all ready so we met the family in the kitchen where Aunt Dani was putting pancakes on a plate.

Nick: absolutely not go and change
Alena: uncle nick who are you talking too?
Nick: Clare you are not wearing that it looks like a bra
Clare: but daddy we are going to be in the hot sun all day (whines)
Nick: stop whining and I don't care put a regular crop top like your cousins but we aren't leaving till you change
Clare: demi can you please tell him what I am wearing is fine (looks at demi)
Demi: honey I would but I have to agree with nick only because we are going to be going on roller coasters and we don't need the ties coming undone
Tina: I can see the headlines now rebel Jonas gives tourists a flash show
Clare: oh shut up
Tina: just saying (takes a plate and sits at the counter)
Clare: what do you think aunt Sophia?
Sophia: I think it's cute but not to go on rides
Nick: sorry princess majority rules go change
Clare: ugh fine! (Walks back to the room)
Kevin: and lose the attitude
Clare's POV
I hate how they think they can decide what I wear it's my clothes and my styles not theirs but I am not in the mood to fight today especially over a stupid top so I walked back over to my suitcase and put on a turquoise ribbed crop top and walked back to the kitchen.

Nick: much now sit down and eat because we have to go
Clare: okay (grabs a plate and sits on the counter with everyone else)
Time skip
Clare's pov
I only ate half the pancake because I really didn't feel like eating much and thankfully they let me without an interrogation and a few minutes later everyone else finished and we took the rental car and headed to universal studios!

(They get to universal and parked the car and bought the tickets and walked inside)
Kevin: so what do you guys want to do first?
Alena: let's go in order what's first on the map?
Demi: men in black
Alena: then let's go there
Everyone: okay
(They walk towards the men in black and wait the line, get on it and zap aliens and get off)
Demi: (laughing) we really know how to mess up those family photos
Clare: haha they weren't that bad
Nick: are you kidding? I looked insane
Tina: not as insane as uncle joe who really looked like the aliens were real
Joe: okay in my defense I wasn't expecting the camera to flash in my face
Sophia: it's okay babe (pecks him on the lips)
Dani: okay what's next?
Alena: the mummy!!
Clare: absolutely not
Tina: what why?!
Clare: because I have horrible memories from that ride (glares at nick)
Nick: don't look at me like that I thought you would like it
Clare: you forced me to go on it remember
Nick: yes and that's only because I wasn't going to leave you by yourself
Clare: so you could have stayed with me but you wanted to go on the ride too
Nick: you were ten I thought you could handle it I am sorry
Clare: apology accepted but I am still not going on that ride, pigs will fly before I get on that ride again
Joe: oh come on it won't be that bad plus you have us
Clare: (thinks about it for a minute) okay fine but if I get scarred and have nightmares again I am blaming all of you
Kevin: yeah yeah stop being a drama queen and let's go
(They walk towards revenge of the mummy)
Clare's pov
The first couple minutes of going through the tunnels wasn't that bad but then we got thrown backwards in the darkness and we kept twisting and turning and I started screaming and I grabbed onto uncle joe's arm since he was the one sitting next to me but then the mummy jumped out at us so I hid my face in joe's chest and the ride finally ended and we walked out.

Clare: I AM NEVER DOING THAT ONE AGAIN!
Alena: cuz it wasn't that bad
Clare: that bad! We were in complete Darkness and you know how much I hate that
Nick: yeah your eyes were closed in the picture (laughs)
Clare: it's not funny (whines and Kevin puts an arm around her)
Kevin: of course it's not honey
Sophia: next is the simpsons and then Harry Potter and the escape from gringotts and it's off to islands
Clare: can we take the hogwarts train!?
Joe: yeah sure
Tina: yay!
(They walk to the simpsons)
Clare: this is definitely one of my favorite rides here
Alena: what about spider man or Harry Potter?
Clare: Harry Potter is part of islands and that tops everything else
Joe: I agree but the hulk is the best
Clare: I am not repeat not going on that one and there's no one that can convince me otherwise
Alena: I'll sit that out with you
Tina: well I want to go on it!
Dani: I'll sit that one out too but we'll talk about it when we get there we still have a lot more rides before that one
Alena: okay
(They walk towards the simpsons and get in line and that's when a fan recognizes them)
?: can I please get a picture with you guys?
Kevin: yeah of course what's your name?
?: Olivia
Joe: it's nice to meet you Olivia do you want to do a picture with all of us?
Olivia: yes please
Nick: okay
(They all take a selfie and hand Olivia the phone back)
Olivia: thank you so much guys
Demi: no problem
(Then another fan walks up to them)
?: can you sign my phone case and take a picture with me please?
Dani: yeah of course what's your name?
?: Charlotte
Sophia: it's nice to meet you Charlotte are you enjoying your day?
Charlotte: absolutely and it just got ten times better
Nick: haha cool so how do you want the picture?
Charlotte: I was thinking one with the guys and then the girls if that's okay?
Kevin: yeah of course
(They take another picture and sign the phone case and then another fan comes up to them)
Clare's pov
After taking a couple more pictures we got on the simpsons ride which was awesome and then walked towards the hogwarts's train which was so cool! They built including every little detail it wasn't like we were in universal anymore instead we stepped into the wizarding world, they even passed out the candy cart and we tried a chocolate frog everything was going great until we saw some more fans walking toward us.

?: hi I am ella and these are my friends poppy, daisy, and Alice
Clare: (mumbles) they sound like story book names
Dani: did you say something Clare?
Clare: no not at all (fake smiles)
Nick: so what can we do for you girls today?
Daisy: can we please please get a picture
Poppy: oh and sign our phone cases
Nick: yeah sure
(Grabs a pen and they start singing stuff)
Joe: so are you enjoying your time at the park so far?
Alice: yeah but it's even better now
Kevin: we are glad we could help (hands the phone back after taking a selfie)
ella: thank you so much guys, oh and can we get a picture with you girls
Alena: yeah sure
(Alena, Tina, and Clare grab the phone and takes a selfie)
Poppy: thank you so much
Them: your welcome
Clare's pov
Ten minutes later we got to islands and a few more fans came up and it was starting to get on my nerves but it is what it is. We went on the amazing adventures of Spider-Man which was so much fun especially with the allusion that your actually flying through the city, then we watched Poseidon's fury which I remembered from when I was a kid to be honest it's not all that, and then did Harry Potter and the forbidden journey which was my all time favorite!! Then hagrid's magical creatures motorbike adventure, and flight of hippogriff.

Tina: can we go on the water rides now? It's really hot
Nick: yeah but I think we should have lunch first it's almost three o clock
Joe: I think that's a good idea
Kevin: how about three broom sticks
Everyone: sure
(They walk inside three broomsticks and the hostess shows them a table and they sit down and Clare's phone vibrates so she answers it)
Text convo
Mom: hey baby how are you!?
Clare: I am good, we are in islands of adventure right now, how's tour?
Mom: it's good, which park are you in California or Orlando?
Clare: Orlando why?
Mom: we are going to be in Orlando this week, we would love to see you!
Clare: cool when do you get here? We'll be here till Wednesday and tomorrow we are going to Disney
Mom: I'll let you know it should be either tomorrow or Wednesday I'll keep you updated
Clare: okay! Anyways we are eating now so I'll talk to you later
Mom: okay I love you
Clare: love you too

Clare's pov
As I waited for the chicken to come I scrolled through social media and I saw that I got tagged in a couple pictures and I noticed the girls from earlier posted from earlier and tagged me but said "met the Jonas family today and unfortunately we also had to take a pic with the slutty daughter" I bit my lip trying to not let that bother me but the comments that followed after were even more brutal like "you could always crop her out" "there's no amount of photoshop that will make her look pretty" " if the ugly duckling story were real Alena and Tina would be the pretty ones and Clare would be the one that gets left behind" "the two princesses and the royal slut, more like the royal bastard." I could feel the tears stinging my eyes but I wasn't about to cry in front of everyone so I just put my phone down and waited for the food to come but when it did I suddenly lost my appetite and I started picking at the food instead of eating it.

Sophia: Clare aren't you going to eat
Clare: I am not that hungry to be honest, I guess the rides kind of took my appetite away
Joe: well you should try and eat something because you don't want to go on rides on an empty stomach
Clare: if I fill my stomach I am going to throw up on the ride
Kevin: are you feeling sick?
Clare: no I am just saying if I force myself to eat and then we go on another ride it's not going to end well
Demi: well at least eat your fries and drink water
Clare: demi
Nick: that's non negotiable you barely ate breakfast
Clare: (pouts) fine
(The rest of the family finish eating and walk out of three broom sticks)
Alena: so what's the first water ride?
Alena: Jurassic Park you get wet but not soaking wet we are saving that one for later
Dani: alright then let's walk over there
Clare's POV
We did Jurassic Park and Alena's right the only park we got a little wet was the drop at the end into the lake, and then it was time for Popeyes and when I say we got soaked I mean we got soaked from head to toe, and thank god we brought a change of clothes, the girls and I went to the restroom to change and I wore another crop top with some jeans and another pair of sneakers and so did the other girls, and we walked out to meet the boys.

Nick: Clare Marie Jonas what's on your neck!!!??
Clare: (mumbles) shit
Nick: what was that?
Clare: nothing, I don't know what your talking about
Clare's pov
Shit shit shit how could I forget about the hickey on my neck! The water must have washed off the makeup and that's mean I am totally and completely screwed, I can play this two ways the first I can lie and be defensive or admit defeat... I choose lie and be defensive.

Joe: Clare nick asked you a question what is on your neck?
Clare: what does it look like...
Kevin: you know what it looks like, now how did you get it!!
Clare: I have no idea what your talking about
Nick: really so that hickey on your neck just magically appeared on your neck!!! Is that what your telling me
Clare: it's not a hickey though it's just a bruise
Nick: oh really then how did you get that bruise?
Clare: I fell on the floor and I landed on my neck
Nick: even if you feel on the floor you wouldn't bruise your neck especially like that! Now I am going to ask you one more time Clare Marie Jonas where did you get that hickey and don't make me ask again!
Clare: your smart I am sure you can figure it out
Demi: I would lose the attitude if i were you
Clare: whatever, so dad are you going to tell me your theory or are you going to believe me
Nick: I would believe you if you were telling the truth but your not so I am going to tell you what I think
Clare: then say it
(The fans start to crowd around)
Kevin: guys let's not do this here, we are starting to make a scene
Nick: I agree let's go back to the resort, we have done all the rides and it's starting to get dark
Alena: but what about the night time lights at hogwarts
Kevin: looks like it's not happening tonight now let's go
Clare: that's not fair, why do we need to leave early when dad's not even right!
Nick: lower your voice before you make even more of a scene
(The crowd starts to record)
Clare: fine but one more think (looks at the crowd and sticks up the middle finger and then blows a kiss to the crowd and joe grabs her and they start to walk out of the park until they get to the car)
Clare's pov
The car ride was completely silent which means I am going to get an earful when we get home. The ride was short because the park wasn't that far so we got back to the resort in fifteen minutes.

Nick: couch now!
Clare: can you be more specific I don't know what you want me do with the couch
Demi: Clare Marie Jonas sit on the couch now!!!
Clare: fine fine (walks into the living room and sits on the couch)
Joe: care to explain what that was back there?
Clare: i don't know what your talking about
Nick: oh really? So you didn't just a cause a scene in front of everyone at the park not to mention expose the hickey that's on your neck!! Which by the way Ricky was the one that gave it to you wasn't it!!
Clare: ding ding we have a winner and the reward is a thousand dollars
Nick: you know what I am done with your attitude (walks over to her and pulls her over his lap)

Nick: and what about the hickey when did he give it to you?
Clare: yesterday when he came to say bye
Joe: he did a lot more then say bye
Nick: so you lied to me yesterday he didn't just come to say bye, you snuck off and saw him, and because we caught him you said he was coming to say bye is that true?
Clare: yes but it doesn't even matter anymore because we are done talking
Nick: and you expect me to believe that after you have lied to me so many times?
Joe: trust is earned not given
Clare: I know and I promise I haven't spoken to him since I ended it yesterday
Nick: fine then look me in the eyes and tell me that
(Clare looks at him)
Clare: I promise I ended it with him
Nick: okay I am going to believe you but that's it no more getting hickey's from guys your too young am I clear?
Clare: yeah... are you going to punish me again?
Nick: I should because that last one was for your attitude not for lying to me
Clare: but...
Nick: I am not going too but if this happens again I am going to make sure you regret it okay?
Clare: okay (hugs him)
Nick: go with your cousins we'll call you when dinners ready
Clare: okay
Clare's pov
Four episodes of the vampire diaries later aunt Sophia came in and told us the pasta is ready and I figured I would eat since I hadn't eaten all day, we finished eating twenty minutes later and I grabbed my phone and saw I got tagged in more pictures so I looked and as soon as I did I regretted it "go purge" "lose some weight" "instead of the ugly duckling we should call her the fat ugly duckling" "she'll never look like her mom with that waist" "she should cut down on the carbs" and if that wasn't bad then scrolling down until I saw a picture of Ricky shoving his tongue down some red head slut did the trick I put my phone down and walked to the bathroom and turned the sink on and leaned over the toilet and did the one thing I never thought I would. I shoved my fingers down my throat until I gagged and the carbs I ate last night left my system, after that I brushed my teeth and walked back to the room with the girls and watched Netflix until I fell asleep.
