A/N: I've decided that since I started this book with Electra's POV, I'll end it that way :)

"-You're under arrest on accounts of kidnapping and-"

The voice was slightly drowned out. I could only hear it for a second. My eyes fluttered open, slowly. I was in the same room as before. The same, god-awful room.

My vision was slightly blurred and my head hurt like mad. I focused my vision slightly. There were... Police officers. One of them was handcuffing Lee.

Oh thank God.

The police officer was giving him a speech of some sort, but I couldn't hear it. The other officers were taking pictures of the room, the wall. The wall was splattered with blood. Oh...

I was sat on a chair, not on the floor.

One of the officers noticed I was awake and strolled over to me, a kind smile on display.

He had black hair that was cut short and looked kinda fluffy. His skin was slightly tanned, or naturally that way. He wore the typical dark blue-black police uniform Iowa. He had a pointed nose and a small amount of stubble on his chin.

He crouched on the floor before my chair. "Hey there. You must be the Electra that the boys were talking about. I'm Officer Delarosa." He said with a slight Mexican drawl to his voice.

The boys... Joe, Pete and Patrick...

I opened my mouth to say something, but nothing came out. I guess I was stunned.

"You don't have to say anything. We've got your little friend there sorted, you don't have to worry about him." Officer Delarosa stood up and offered his hand to me.

I put my hand in his slowly, his fingers closing over mine. He pulled me up slowly and then released. Instead, he put his tanned hand on my pale arm and lead me outside, passing Lee on the way.

"Get back here!" Lee screamed at me. The police officer who was handcuffing him gripped tighter on him. I swallowed hard in relief.

I was lead outside, into the back of the cop car. It must've been already about six or seven am due to the pretty pink-blue of the sky. Damn, I was out for a long time. Officer Delarosa climbed into the passengers seat, closing the door behind him.

"If there are any questions you need to ask me, go ahead. I assume you're really shaken. We're gonna take you down to the station and then you'll need to be checked over." He smiled warmly at me again.

I wish he'd stop smiling. I mean, I appreciate that he's being sympathetic or whatever, but this isn't really a great situation to be smiling in.

I did have some questions though.

"Where are they? The boys?" My voice was slow, quiet and very croaky for some reason.

He turned in his seat to look at me. That smile was completely gone from his face and exchanged with a sad smile. It was as if someone had performed one of those 'abracadabra, alakazam' magic tricks and made something disappear. Oh no...

"They were taken to hospital right when we arrived, a while before you woke up. They needed medical attention straight away." He informed. "But, they said that it'd be best if you don't see them... Again."

My heart stopped.

They didn't want to see me again? Not even Patrick?! None of them...

I could already feel the tears fall down my cheeks and into my open mouth. The tears were salty. They didn't want to see me ever again, after all we'd been through. I thought Patrick loved me...
