Chapter 22 - The Court Trial

Amane's POV:

Hammer? Shit no... that's not what's important right now.

My heart beat increased. My brother wasn't here now. I threw the phone aside too. I didn't know what to do. How did he come here? Who's he? Why he's looking at me like that?

We stood there both having a staring competition. His lips slowly started turning into a smile when someone came from behind and knocked him down.

"Ed?" I asked surprised. "I guess you've got to start your training again!" He replied me with a smirk.

"Why are you even smirking?" I asked him. "Nothing! I just wanted to show off in front of my sister!" He replied. The next moment I saw Emily, my elder sister jump up of that man and rush to me.

"Amy!! Are you okay?" She asked concerned.

"Idiot! Nothing happened... anyways what's going on?" I asked seriously. They both looked at each other and nodded. "Amy! I'm going to be dead serious and will tell only once!" My sister told sternly. "You've got to pay attention!" She added.

She started pulling me when I stopped abruptly. "My phone!" I went back and grabbed my phone from the floor.

I opened it and clicked on the text messages from unknown. He send some messages but I didn't mind that now. First, I've got to apologize. I said to myself.

Me: Unknown Species, I'm really sorry. I just wasn't in good mood. I shouldn't have put it on you.

I closed my phone and let out a big sigh.

"Amy!! Come here!" She came and dragged me out. I saw that man moving in his place. I stood still. Emily turned back and looked at me with a bored expression.

"What now? I forgot my pants?" She asked. "Stupid, No!" I relied as I pointed to the guy.

She whisper-yelled Edward and did the same like me. By then my big brother opened the door and rushed to me.

"You scared me, Amy!!" He hugged me.

"What's wrong?" I asked. "Shit! I forgot there was another door to the toilet." He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Okay guys this is driving me crazy! None of you is opening up their mouth. I don't like being the only one left out. I'm also a member of this family. I-" I started complaining as tears started streaming down my face.

Emily hugged me and sighed. "I'll tell you." She then pulled me to Ed's bed.

Soon we heard another doorbell. "I'll get it!" Calvin rushed out.

"The thing is...." As she started speaking, I started becoming scared. ".......I've got a secret crush on someone!" She finished with such dreamy eyes and a sigh.

"Arghh!!! Sis! Stop your nonsense!" I slapped her hand. "Trust me, it isn't nonsense. He's just awesome!" She told again. "Fine, fine! So what's the relation of that in this?" I asked. She seemed to get the hint that she can't just change the subject and make me forget it.
