Chapter 19 - The Living Corpse

Amane's POV:

We were sitting in cafeteria during lunch time.

"Remember the day when the bull chased you?" I asked suppressing my laughter.

"A bull chased her?" Zach spilled his drink out. "Eww, Zach!" I looked at him.

He grinned like a kid. "Sorry ma'am! Now tell me what happened?" He seemed excited.

"I wanna know too! I can't believe you didn't tell us such an interesting incident!" Jessie joined us.

"Yeah, yeah! Too interesting unless you experience it yourself!" Nessa seemed annoyed and rolled her eyes.

"What fun am I missing?" Blake asked.

I looked to see Noah staring at him. Anything happened....? As soon as he caught me looking, he shook his head and smiled.

"Okay all of you came at the right time. So what happened is, our neighbor not exact next door one a little farther down the road-" I started speaking when Zach cut me off.

"Oh God! I can't bare these girlish talks! Just get straight to the point." He huffed in annoyance.

That poked a nerve in me. "So he used to rear animals in his house. He was a poor man. He became aged so he had to retire from his job........" and like that I carried on until Zach got fed up.

"I'm leaving!" He took his tray and stood up.

"Sure! Take mine too. ThankYou!" I gave mine too in his hand and smiled sweetly.

"Argh!!" He yelled. Blake seemed to pull his shirt I guess? That made him shut.

"I change my mind. Continue but please get to the point. I know you're doing it to annoy me!" He pouted.

"So, when he went to buy a cow, the people tricked him into buying a bull. I've no idea how but he didn't recognize or whatever." I shrugged.

"That day I went to pick Amy from her house and by chance I was wearing red. So yeah, you can guess! When we came out, no idea how but the bull caught a glimpse of me and started chasing me." Nessa finished it off.

All started laughing. "I wish I was there. I missed such a show." Zach stated.

I looked at Blake. He smirked at me. I huffed in annoyance folding my arms. I exactly knew what was going on in his mind. I mouthed to him 'Jerk'

"I wished to see Amy running too!" Noah grinned at me.

Huh...? But when did I say I was running? How did he know...?

Seeing my confused expression, Blake kicked me below the table. I looked at him. As we made eye contact he continued staring at me. Slowly he smiled.

I immediately looked down hiding my blush. Jessie nudged my shoulder. "Why are you blushing?" She whispered.

I shook my head. What the hell? I had no idea as to why I was blushing!

"Guyss! I've a video for all who missed" Blake told grinning. Oh no... "Don't tell me you did what I'm thinking you did!" I looked at him not believing.

"Good luck for you. Exactly what you're thinking." He told with a grin.

As soon as he took out the phone, Zach grabbed it. "No!!" I yelled but for no use.

They all rushed to him, circling around to see the video. Me and Nessa say there eating our food ignoring their presence.

"Now you get it too! Who told you to bring it up again?" She told me with a cool voice.
