Chapter 7 - The Welcome Party

Amane's POV:

It's been 15 minutes. Yet no call or reply. "The pendulum ride it is." Jessie announced loud enough for us to hear.

I am worried here about where did that Noah and Aaron disappear to and these people are still busy deciding which ride to go to. I looked at my watch again. "What's wrong, Amane?" Jessie asked. "Uh.. I'm just wondering where's Noah." Zach smiled evilly. "They ditched you knowing you'll wait for them for long!"

"Shut up, Zach!" I again looked around. Finally I gave up. "C'mon, why so worried about them when I'm here?" He pouted.

"Exactly that's why. I like them more." I shrugged.

"Guys!! Everyone take one." I heard Noah's and Aaron's voice. I turned around to see them holding ice creams and some snacks.

I squealed and grabbed the butterscotch ice cream at once. This is my favorite! "Did you guys go alone to buy? You could have told us...!" Suddenly all of them were staring at me. I stood confused. Did I do something wrong? "What?" I asked. "You were the one who told you didn't want any ice cream!!" Aaron stated. "I did? Anyways this is exceptional case." I grinned.

"Let's take a seat in a table." saying that Noah left. I was enjoying my time but it felt like something was going on. They were planning something which I had no idea about. I went to one of the empty tables and sat. "Guys! I got us a se-" But they all came up to me and dragged me to another table where Noah was standing. "Hey!" I was being pushed from my back and when we reached, they left my back to stand beside Noah.

"This is 'To welcome you to our group of friendship.' We're glad to be acquainted with you. Hope we get to spend the most memorable times with each other during these school years." That was really... I've got no words to say. I stood there dumbstruck with half the ice cream in my mouth. "Hey it's melting!" Jessie told. "Shall I lic-" before he could finish Noah elbowed him in his stomach. The table was filled with small small snacks. I know we can't eat heavy otherwise we won't be able to play. "Uh.." I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out. Noah chuckled. "I'm sorry... Um.. it's just... just before I come I had a kinda farewell party from my friends there. And now a welcoming one...." I looked up to each one of them "I know I'm special. ThankYou Guys! It is one of the best memories for me." I told to them and laughed. I went and hugged them all. But it wasn't anything to be too emotional on it. It was a simple yet pleasant and meaningful party.

"Aww.. don't cry!" Zach teased and he was about to hug me. But I ducked below him and went to the table to eat. Food comes always first. I took my seat and already started eating.

As we had our food in a table around the corner, one chick came up. "Hey! Mind if I sit here with you?" She asked Noah. I don't know why but I didn't like the idea. "No! Please find somewhere else to sit." I mentally answered to her. It was a table of six people. Me and Noah was seated on one side, Jessie and Zach facing us in the opposite side whereas Aaron was kind of beside me.... basically if we're seated on the length of the table, he was on the width and opposite to him was where that chick wanted to sit. Literally!!! Even in park people 'like her' come to hit on others. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes.

When everyone was done with their food, I waited no more. I stood up "Guys.. let's ride on that." I pointed to some random ride just to get out of here. Zach seemed to get my point. "Which?" He asked obviously faking. "That one!" Again I pointed somewhere. "But you just pointed to this one." He smirked. As much we were busy talking and tried to involve Noah, that chick whoever was she distracted him every time. "I had enough!" Jessie told. All eyes were on her. "I mean I'm done eating, let's go play." She continued. "And yeah we'll go to that one Amy!" She smiled evilly at me. Ah! I'm so blessed to have her. She stood up and pulled Zach with her. Aaron from this side pulled me and we started going. "We'll wait for you ahead No- buddy!" He hesitated then finished what he was saying.
