Chapter 24 - The Tomato and Cake

Amane's POV:

I opened my eyes with water  being splashed on my face. "Who the hell- Arghhh!! did that?" I yelled.

I saw myself sitting taking the support of a tree. All my friends were standing hovering over me waiting for me to open my eyes.

"What happened?" I asked. "Wait don't reply that! First, where's that shit of a driver?" I started standing all of a sudden when I started to feel dizzy again. "Hey! Take it easy, Amane!" Ed came and hold my shoulder.

He made me sit down again and patted my head slowly. "You haven't done your training since years, Amy! You should take it slow. You can't just go and start using your strength." Ed spoke to me slowly.

I took a deep breathe. I had to calm down. When I was young, I've been trained to learn defensive techniques to protect myself coming from a higher family. Well, that was in past. Due to some problems, since years I have been living a different life. All of a sudden using my strength makes me dizzy and tired.

After taking a little rest, "I'm alright. I'll be fine." I told Ed as I stood up. "So what's going on?" I asked.

"Look there!" Ed pointed. There I saw them. Those who attacked us were sitting with their hands tied.

"Hey!! There were more people." I looked taken aback when I saw many were missing. "Yeah, they escaped!" Ed replied. From the side of my eye, I caught Blake staring at me.

"What?" I asked looking at him. He shook his head abruptly and smirked. "I'm just looking forward to have you at my home!" He responded. "Hey! That's my sister you're talking to." Edward interrupted.

"What makes you think I'll come to your house?" I just shook off the thought with a shrug.

"Oh, Sweetheart!" He whispered so lowly that I almost couldn't have heard him. "You just will." I looked at him again sharply.

"Shut up!" I told him. "Make me!" He smirked. "Get lost!" I told starting to get annoyed. "With you guiding me, I'll always get lost!" He chuckled. "Arghhh! Just zip that mouth!" I yelled in frustration. "I'd-" He was about to say something when he suddenly stopped.

I looked at him confused. Since I knew I won't understand, I just shrugged. "Ah! I almost forgot." I turned around to see Calvin making some expressions to Blake. Oh! So that made him shut!

"What?" Nessa asked as she approached me. "Where's that shitty Driver?" I asked closing my hands into a fist.

"I don't think you require-" I cut off whoever was speaking. "I need to still make that tomato grow!" I told with excitement.

As I started walking to search, police came and they were taken within the blink of an eye.

"Let's start going!" Calvin told. Huh? "Where's Noah?" I asked searching for him. "Looking for me?" He came from behind and hugged me. I started laughing as I hugged him back. "I haven't seen you. That's why!" I told I'm between my laugh.

"Is that the only reason?" He seemed to be happy for reasons I don't even know why.

"I'm glad you're safe." He flicked my nose. The next moment someone hold my hands and started pulling me to the other side. I looked up to see Zach. "My turn!" He immediately pulled in a tight hug.

I was taken aback with his such great force but I hugged him back. "Play along with me." He whispered in my ear.

"So, Amy's gonna live with me. That's settled." He shouted. Huh!? Wait, I've to act. He looked down at me and grinned. I gave him a sweet smile without knowing what was happening.
