-three nights before tour is over-

tyler cried during holding onto you tonight. everyone held up posters with "we're still holding onto you!" written on the front. he kept his tears to a minimum on stage but when he came off he ran into my arms and cried into my shoulder. I held him for a while, rocking him gently from side to side. he mostly just cried but I still remember one thing he mumbled to me,

"I love them so much."

-two nights before tour is over-

during one of the instrumental breaks, someone in the crowd yelled to tyler,

"TELL DAISY I LOVE HER MORE THAN YOU DO!!"

the crowd laughed along and tyler looked straight at the audience member, not breaking eye contact once and said,

"okay but like I actually get to hug her and talk to her right as I get off stage, so I'm having a hard time finding any sort of validity in your comment."

let's just say the crowd and stan twitter lost their minds. #taisy was trending on twitter right after the show was over.

-one night before tour is over-

tonight is tyler's hometown show, and I'm standing backstage watching. I try to stay as far behind the curtain as possible, so that way the audience can't see me. although, it is hard with big wheels turning every which way every time I move. "okay my friends, I would like to go off-script a little bit do something a little different." tyler started. it was the last night of tour, so it doesn't surprise me that tyler is trying to do something special to mark the end of this leg of tour. "so as all of you may know, I have a beautiful girlfriend." the crowd started roaring and my palms started to sweat in nervousness. what was he doing? "her name is daisy and she has been here with me this whole entire leg of tour. now, some of you may know that daisy lives with a disability called cerebral palsy. basically that means she's on wheels all day which is cool and that's also pretty much the main reason why I'm with her." the crowd laughed and tyler smirked at his own joke. I couldn't help but giggle a bit myself. "anyway, she's having a really big surgery day after tomorrow, and we're both pretty scared out of our minds. I thought to make her and I feel better, we could send her off the right way." by this time, my stomach was churning. I had no idea what kind of tricks tyler had hiding up his sleeve. "so with that, could you please help me in welcoming my daisy girl to the stage?" I saw tyler shoot a glance toward me and he beckoned me towards the stage with his finger. eyes wide, I ran up nervously on the stage. the crowd went crazy. suddenly, one of the stagehands brought a chair out onto the stage and tyler gestured for me to sit.

"tyler what is going on?" I asked quietly once the crowd settled down.

"shh, daisy. let me have this" he joked. I laughed and leaned back into the chair, trying to get comfortable. he brought the microphone to his lips once more and grabbed his ukulele.
"so I'm doing this to let you know that I love you, in case you forgot." the crowd erupted in giggles. "and I know it's overplayed, but it makes me think of you." he started strumming on his ukulele and I recognized the song immediately as he started to sing.

he left her lonely with a diamond mind and those ocean eyes

the crowd had sung along with every word, filling the room with voices singing just for me. we both had tears in our eyes and by the time it was over they had fallen down our cheeks. I got up slowly off of the chair and tyler held my waist for support.

we kissed in front of thousands of people.

"I love you"
