Surely it was a good way to die…in the place of the person you loved. Noble, even. If you could give every reason that was your life for the one who was your life. If that person was your reason to take each breath every day? Would you sacrifice everything you’ve ever known for the person who was the only light in your life that was within your grasp to life…within your grasp to reality?
