Emma's Pov I woke up and went to the bathroom. When I got back Hunter was still sleeping in the bed. Thank god. If I g e up without his permission nothing is pretty. I layed back in bed and felt a sting across my face.
"I told you not to get up without asking. You left me" He said
"No baby I would never"
"But you did. Go sleep in the bathroom since you left me for it" I got up and went into the bathroom. I didn't mean to make him feel bad. Then he screamed.
"Get the razor out of the box under the sink. You hurt me so you have to hurt yourself." I grabbed the razor. If he didn't see a cut when I got out he would cut worst. I had to get stitches once but he didn't take me to the hospital. Instead he did it himself because doctors ask to many questions.
I'm not allowed to visit my brother or even talk to him. Hunter says it's better that way. No one can get between us he says.
"Hunter can I go to the gym" I asked quietly
"Of course baby but by yourself and send me a picture every 5 minutes. And keep your location on." I nodded my head slowly and got ready. I left the house and let out a relieved breath. Then I started crying in the car.
"You could do better. Do you even love Hunter" At one point in time I did but then he took me from my family and my mental health is everywhere. I drove off to the gym. I left my phone there and went to my therapist.
"I'm ready to leave him. I'm ready to leave New York. I'm done. Finished" I said to her
"Sweetheart you have to find the right time. He will hurt you"
"I know and I'm ready. I'm gonna wait a week. I'll text you"
"Alright good luck" I went back to the gym and grabbed my phone. I had 2 missed calls from Hunter. Like I care anymore. I drove to the house and when I got in I heard a lot of noise. Hunter was grunting and I heard some girl screaming. I ran upstairs to see...Hunter cheating on me.
"Are you fucking serious" I screamed he looked over to me.
"Babe it's not what it looks like"
"As if"
"I'm sorry he never mentioned a girlfriend" the girl said. She actually seemed innocent.
"It's not your fault that he's a lying, cheating dog. You can have him if you want I really don't care" I started gabbing my things. I paid for the apartment so he's gonna be fucked in a month.
"Babe you said you would never leave me" he gave me pleading eyes but im not falling back into the trap.
"And you said you loved me" I said shedding one tear and walking out. I drove to the airport.
"One ticket to L.A. please" I handed the lady my card and waited for my flight to board. After about 7 hours I was in Los Angeles. I dialed the only person I know who lives here.
Emma: Dante
Can you please come get me from the airport I'm in L.A. Wow look who decies to call me after 1 year It wasn't my fault I'll explain when you come I'm only coming beacuse I want to know what happened to you. I missed you I missed you too.
When Dante came to the airport I hugged him like I've never hugged him before. Ever since mom and dad died we've been so close. Hunter almost messed that up. One year without Dante and I'm broken even more. He kissed my head and hugged me again like he couldn't believe I was here.
"Oh I missed you" He said
"I missed you too" I said letting out tears both joyful and sad.
"Tell me everything" Dante picked up my two bags and put them in his car. As we drove I told him everything. From start to finish.
"Sis you, why didn't you call me"
"I wasn't allowed to. Do you know how many text messages I got from Nonna because she thought I was dead."
"She texted me too"
"Well guess who's dropping new music. I've been sneaking off to studio sessions."
"Nice"
