"You were happy"

~Emma's Pov~

It's been a three days since I got out of the hospital. Nick's birthday is in 5 days and I plan to make it the best one. I put him through a lot. I still haven't been on any of my socials. I did read what the new posted about me though.

I was getting ready for a day out with Evelyn when my phone rang.

"Hello" I said without even looking at caller ID.

"Emma, we need you to help us plan the party" Zion said.

"Evelyn and I are going out right now" I said.

"Please Emma, we don't know a damn thing about what he likes like you do"

"Ok let's all go out and tell Nick we have a business meeting or something" I said.

"Alright cool" He said hanging up. I rolled my eyes. I have to spend every moment I possibly can with my daughter.

"Evelyn we are going out with uncle Caleb and uncle Brandon" I yelled.

"Ok mommy" She said. I think she is veering away from the Italian in her. She barely calls me Mamma anymore. I finished and put Evelyn in the car. We drove to Panera and met the guys.

"Alright I am here so lets start" I said. I sat across from Zion and Edwin.

"We already have some of it" Edwin said.

"so why in the world did you call me" I said.

"Mommy I want fries" Evelym said. I ordered her some fries.

"We need to know what music we should do" they said. you have to bw kidding me.

"You know the songs that were sang at Evelyn's birthday? Do those, actually I have an idea so just listen to me and ill do that part" I said. They nodded.

"Alright what about the food" Zion asked.

"Yall know he likes Italian cuisine. I'll have my aunt cook and I'll have a special surprise for him" I said.

"What's the surprise" Edwin asked.

"He'll meet all of my family" I said. They gave wide eyes.

"Do you mean" Zion started.

"Yep" I said. We all laughed.

"Mommy can we go see Daddy" Evelym asked.

"Yea, we also have to go house hunting" I said. I drove home and got in.

"NICK IM HOME" I yelled.

"DADDY" Evelyn yelled as she walked up the stairs. We walked into my room and saw Nick really deep in his phone. I peeked over his shoulder and saw 'Alexys'.

"Hey Nick" I said. I was a little put off as to why he was texting his ex.

"Oh hey Amore" He said kissing my stomach and putting his phone down. I rolled my eyes.

"Daddy I made you something" Evelyn said. She went into her little purse and pulled out a watch. It was one of his watches I have already bought that she painted on and added beads.

"Oh my god, its so great" I said holding my composure. That watch was $12,000.

"Do you like it Daddy" She asked.

"I love it" He said. I sat on the bed.

"Evelyn go wash up for dinner" I said. She skipped to her room.

"I don't know what Im gonna do with that girl" I said. Nick just laughed.

"Well what are you cooking" Nick asked.

"I dont know, maybe chicken" I said. He scoffed.

"Well if you think you can make something better than be my guest" I said.

"Challenge accepted" He said as he ran downstairs. I rolled my eyes and walked downstairs. He already had everything set up.

"What are you making"

"My mom's spaghetti" He said. I walked upstairs and saw Evelyn her toy phone.

"Mom I'm talking to Uncle Caleb" She giggled. I laughed.

"You can talk to him after dinner, let's go help Daddy cook" I said. I picked her up and carried her down.

"I'm helping daddy cook" She said and he turned around with a smile. I watched them cook and it was the cutest thing ever. It took them like an hour.

"Alright here" Nick said putting the plate in front of me. I grabbed the fork and tasted some of it.

"Wow, this is great" I said.

"I know" He said boastfully. I laughed.

"Ok we need to wash Evelyn and get her ready for bed" I said. I washed her and put her in bed.

"I love you mommy" She said falling asleep.

"I love you too tesoro" I said. I kissed her forehead and turned on her nightlight. I shut the door and slowly walked away. I guess I'm still scared for everything to fade away. I walked into my room to a shirtless Nick.

"What are you doing" I asked.

"Reading" He said. He looked so good doing whatever he was doing. I climbed in bed and layed on his chest.

"I missed this so much" I said snuggling closer.

"I spent three months without you and it's been the worst of my entire life" He said kissing my head.

"Nick, I want you to know"

"Know what"

"Know what I saw, what was said, how it was" I said sitting up. He put his book dowm and looked at me.

"Then let me know"

"Nick I had the most perfect life. Nothing had ever went wrong. We were the perfect power couple and...and we had the best family. Everyone had an amazing bond and I..." I tried finishing my sentence.

"You were happy" He said sadly.

"I was happy but thats only because everyone was there" I said.

"But it wasn't with what you have been through" He said.

"Of course im not happy with what ive been through but what came from it is a blessing"

"Emma, are you happy with me" He asked.

"Nick, I am beyond happy. I have never been happier in my life"

"Emma, I'm scared"

"Of what Nick"

"Scaring you, hurting you,......losing you"

"Nick you aren't losing me. I will be here forever. We won't be apart" I said.

"Are you sure" He asked.

"Im more than sure baby. Im positive" I said kissing him. The kiss got more intense and rough. Onw thing lead to another.
