Shay's POV

I'm scrolling through Instagram when I get a DM. It's from the guy I kissed when I went to the club last Friday.

*Are you awake?* Why is he texting me?

*Yeah.*

*Can we talk?* I don't know what he wants but there's only one way to find out.

*About what?*

*Us.* There's an "us" now?

*Us?*

*About what happened last Friday, our kisses.* I was hoping he didn't remember.

*What about it?*

*You do know I spent tonight looking at you, right? I just couldn't do anything because of your sister.*

*If you really wanted to do something, my sister being there wouldn't have stopped you. The girl you were with thought...*

*You saw that?*

*I think everyone did.*

*She didn't mean anything to me.*

*Yeah, the same goes for me.*

*No, you're different.*

*Oh, please! I mean, I know I'm nothing like the others. But, in this case, we all mean the same to you.*

*That's not true. Don't know if you noticed but I only kissed her twice. And I only dance with her like that to make you jealous.*

*Didn't work. And hon, if you think that's how you're gonna get to me, you're dead wrong.*

*I know..* (seen at 4:40am)

*Are you there?* Again?

*Yeah.*

*You wanna know the truth?*

*About what?*

*The truth is ever since our kiss I haven't been able to stop thinking about you. I can't remember how many times I've seen all your Instagram photos. I wanted to text you the minute I sent the following request, but I didn't have the guts. I didn't know what to say or if you felt the same.*

*Why did you text me today?*

*Because I saw the way you looked at me last night, like you wanted the same thing I do.*

*And what would change if you happened to be right?*

*To me, it changes everything.*

*Why? Do you really think this could go anywhere? Yeah, I wanted it to. But we both know that what happens at the club, stays at the club.* What the hell am I doing? Nothing can happen between us, it would never work.

*Yeah, I do. It only stays and ends there if we want it to.*

*Look, that night, when you asked me to stay, I wanted to stay too. And who knows, maybe what happened that night can happen again, but I think it's better if we leave it at that.*

*Do you want it to happen again?* Oh God!

*I wouldn't mind, you're a good kisser.*

*Would you want to go have coffee with me tomorrow afternoon?* No way...

*I already have plans.*

*With whom?*

*A friend, not that I owe you explanations.*

*Just a friend?*

*Don't push it?*

*Sorry...* (Seen at 5:15am)
