It's now Sunday and I'm taking a walk with my parents and sisters around the town square. When we stop near the giant Christmas tree to take a picture, I notice D looking straight at me from across the street. I look his way and wink at him as I bite my lip. I watch as his lips part while he looks down my body and up again. I know he's taking off my clothes with those eyes and, honestly, I wish he was taking them off with his hands instead.
After taking several pictures, we're trying to take a selfie so everyone shows up, but we can't seem to fit everyone and the tree. That's when D comes up to me.
"Hey, do you want me to take that for you?" He smiles as he takes the phone from my hand.
"Yeah, thanks. Can you try to capture the tree too, please?" I ask and join my family.
He takes several pictures and then gives me back the phone, which I hand over to my mom so they can see if they like them.
"Thanks." I say once more.
"No problem." We smile at each other and he takes a step closer to me when I bite my lip again.
For a moment I think he's going to kiss me but then he hugs me.
"I want to ask you something." He says in my ear and then pulls back. "What are your plans for the New Year's Eve?"
"I'm having dinner with my parents and then me and my sister are going out after midnight. Why?"
"I was thinking maybe you'd want to spend the night with me." When he sees my surprised expression, he continues. "I mean, after midnight, instead of going out with your sister, you could meet me. But you don't have to answer yet, just think about it. I'll text you next week to know what you've decided."
And just like that, D kisses my cheek and leaves without even giving me a chance to say something. I mean, I don't exactly know what to say, that really caught me off guard that's for sure.
When I get home later that day, I can't stop thinking about D and the nights we've had. The way he touches me, his hands all over my body. His teeth on my neck while he forces his length deep inside me. It's like he's doing it right now, I can feel him and it's so good.
He said he would text me next week, after Christmas, to know my answer. The truth is I would love to start the new year with him, but what do I tell my parents? They are planning on coming with me and my sister to the club so what excuse could I possibly tell them?
I suppose I could say I'm meeting L because her boyfriend will be working that night and I'm staying at her place. Or I could just say I'm going out with some friends and then I'll take a cab home, which wouldn't be lying. Yeah, I think I'm going with option two. I know my parents won't mind so I'll let them know after the holidays.

Two days after Christmas, I tell my parents and sister about my plans for the New Years. They're all cool with it so I guess I have D's answer. If he ever does call me.
Later that day I'm cleaning my room to the sound of Little Mix when the sound of an incoming call starts blasting through the speaker. I pick up the phone from my night stand and turn off the bluetooth and the speaker before answering the call.
"Hey!" D says.
"Hey!"
"How was Christmas?"
"It was good. What about yours?"
"Same. So do you have an answer for me yet?" I can tell he's smilling.
"Maybe..." I taunt him. "But I might need you to remind me what the question was."
"Oh, really you forgot? That's too bad because I can't seem to remember either." He knows exacly what I'm doing.
"Well that's such a shame. Now we'll never know what might have happened if you did." I'm bitting my lip and he knows it.
"And we can't let that happen, now, can we?" If we were talking face to face, I know for a fact he would have taken a step closer.
"I would hate it if we did but I guess it's up to you." Come on, stop playing and just ask me already.
"I guess you're right." He takes a deep breath before continuing, "Would you want to spend the night with me on New Year's Eve?"
"Not only do I want to as I'm going to." I hear him gasping for air. He wasn't expecting me to say yes, I can tell you that much.
"Are you serious? You'll be mine for the night?" mine that word keeps echoing in my brain even though I know he didn't mean it that way.
"If you'll have me," I dont really know what else to say.
"Are you kidding me? Of course I will. I would have you everyday if I could." What? He said that last part so low I'm pretty sure I wasnt suppost to hear it. But I did.
"In that case, I'll text you as soon as I get to the town square. Try not to get too drunk so you dont forget about me, alright?" I laugh and I know he's rolling his eyes while smilling.
"Deal, i'll be waiting for your text. And dont worry, I could never forget about you." Now it's my turn to be speachless.
"Hey, hum... Before we hang up, can I ask you something?" D asks after a while.
"Yeah."
"Can I text you later?" Wow, I did not see that coming.
"Sure you can, anytime." I smile because I know that if we were talking face to face, he would be kissing me right now.
Four hours later, I'm answering his texts as I organise my goals for 2020. I decided to trade New Year's wishes for goals, that way I have things to focus on. Things I know I can have instead of wishing for something that might never happen. It doesnt hurt you nearly as much.
*Can I see what you'll be wearing?*
*It's a surprise, you'll have to wait to see.*
*I can't wait. And whatever it is, I know for a fact you'll be breathtakingly stunning ;)*
Oh my, I can't fall for him...
