FROM A YOUNG AGE EVERYONE KNEW SHE HAD POTENTIAL. Her wit and intelligence was seemingly way above average, some would even call her a prodigy. She had always been top of her class by a landslide, and overachieving was something that became her nature over time. She was born into the luxurious lifestyle. She lived in an expensive house and had parents who paid big money for her to go through top education to lead her to a successful future. Her parents constantly pushed and pushed her to get her ready for the lifestyle they had lived for many generations. A lifestyle that was a lot darker than she had initially thought.
At the time, she had no clue the real way her father had gotten so wealthy, and she never expected him to attain through illegal actions. Nor did she ever think that she came from a long line of criminals, and her whole life revolved around the preparation to become the same. Her father served as a paradigm for what was to become her future-- and that alone terrified her more than anything.
While most people her age were out with friends and partying, she was stuck in the house, studying until she mentally couldn't take it anymore. Her time outside of the house was restricted, mostly only reserved for school, tennis, and occasional gatherings she was forced to go to with her parents for business inquiries. Her father was careful with how much she was exposed to the public eye, never wanting his daughter to be used as a tool against him. She never had the chance to be a regular kid.
It always seemed as though her whole life was planned out for her, and she never liked that. She felt controlled, and like she would never find a way out. Almost as if she was suffocating on an internal loop that would never end. A void in her so deep, that she would never be able to fill. So when a man, who goes by the name of 'The Professor' gave her a proposition to join a heist, alongside nine other criminals, it was just something she couldn't pass up. She could finally make her own decisions for once, and get away from her parents for good with the means necessary.
She was exceedingly smart, and deception had become her second nature over time. She knew how to get inside people's heads, talk her way out of things, and get what she wanted. A master manipulator. Although other reasons for her recruitment might have been at play, the Professor felt as though she would be a needed asset for the heist, regardless of how young she was. She could be someone on the inside, who could work out problems fast, just in case part of the mission failed. Her expertise in reading people could help out a lot with the hostages, being able to tell if something was being planned right under their noses.
