THE GROUP WAS SLOWLY RUNNING OUT OF TIME. In a matter of minutes, the police were going to try to swarm into the bank. Preparation for what was going to happen, was seemingly going very smoothly, for the most part. But that never lasted long. Nairobi, a blinded Palermo, and Florence escorted the Governor down to the lowest level, where he was to give them the access they needed into the vault of bank secrets. These would be used to halt the police from entering, so the secrets wouldn't be leaked out to the public. Tokyo and Verona watched over the hostages as they passed down sacks of sand to where Helsinki was getting the Browning ready.

Now, it was all a waiting game.

As Verona walked in front of the group of hostages, the sound of one of the bags of sand falling to the ground caught her attention. Tokyo seemed as if she noticed as well, but brushed it off-- throwing a look at Verona to do the same. The blonde girl fought off an eye roll, making sure to bite her tongue so she didn't send a snarky remark towards her friend. Verona was on edge, to put it simply, and the sound of the woman continuously dropping the bags of sand every time it was handed to her was slowly starting to peak her aggravation.

Tokyo, who had been observing the younger girl the past few minutes, noticed the obvious irritation on her face-- that she wasn't hiding from anyone. Tokyo could tell her patience was dwindling, mostly because of the sticky situation they were currently in. And the woman who kept dropping the bag was only slowing them down. When Tokyo noticed Verona was about to say something, which most likely would've been uncalled for, she gently grabbed her arm, silently telling her that she would handle it. She watched as Verona's jaw twitched slightly, but the young girl nodded her head anyways, a hint of a scoff slipping past her lips.

"Ma'am." Tokyo spoke up, catching the older woman's attention as she was leaned over to pick up the sack of sand she had dropped once again. "Get out of line." The woman made no effort to comply to the demand, reassuring them that she could handle it. She lifted the bag up from off the ground, and began handing it to the person next to her, as Tokyo slowly approached her. "Get out of line, please." The woman reluctantly obliged, and took a few steps forward. "Everyone else keep working!" A few more words were shared between them, until Tokyo told her to take a seat.

Verona noticed the smile that was twitching on Tokyo's lips-- the twinkle in her eyes deemed it genuine. Almost as if she could feel Verona staring at her, the smile completely disappeared from her face. Verona decided that she didn't care enough to question what exactly the woman had said to bring an ounce of happiness to Tokyo's face.

After a few more minutes passed by, it was now time to escort the hostages to their designated places. Half of the group followed Tokyo up the main staircase, as Stockholm led the other half to a room the opposite way. Verona stayed in the main corridor with Helsinki, urging the hostages to pick up the pace to where they were being escorted to go.
