WITH ONE TEAM MEMBER IN DESPERATE NEED OF PROPER MEDICAL ATTENTION, AND THE PROFESSOR NOT ANSWERING THE PHONE, THEY HAD COME TO THEIR LAST RESORT. Calling Inspector Murillo, in hopes that she would send a surgeon in to help their dying friend. Tokyo had managed to somehow convince Berlin that they needed to do it, even though the Professor had told them not to have any contact with the police whatsoever. Unlucky for them, Inspector Murillo had been taken off the case, leaving the Colonel in charge. The only way Moscow was going to get medical attention he needed, was if they delivered him out of the bank unarmed, which was something they didn't want to do.

Verona couldn't stop staring at her hands that were colored in crimson. Her hands hadn't stopped shaking, as she sat beside Moscow. An unbearable pain had filled her chest. She didn't want to believe what was happening. When she signed up for a heist, she didn't know she was signing up to watch as her teammates, friends, died in front of her. The worst thing about it, was knowing she couldn't do anything to stop it.

Verona watched as Moscow glanced over at her, making her force a smile onto her face. He seemed to see right through it, judging that it was getting harder and harder for her to hide how she was feeling. She tried her best to stay hopeful, not wanting Moscow to assume the worst for himself. She grabbed his hand, whispering to him that everything was going to be alright. He gave her hand a comforting squeeze, rubbing his thumb over her knuckles.

"I'm proud of you." His voice came out weak, almost too soft for her to hear. Her eyebrows scrunched up in confusion, wondering why he would be telling her that. It was a phrase she was rarely ever told. "At first, I was hesitant with wanting a teenager in the group. But you really proved yourself, kid. Managed to keep it together better than the rest of us." He let out a choked out laugh, a bright smile lingering on his face. Even though he was badly injured, he was still trying to stay calm and brave. Verona admired that. She felt tears welling up in her eyes, as she nodded at his words.

She felt a hand touch her shoulder gently, and looked up to see Berlin standing above her. He motioned for her to follow him, and she gave Moscow one last glance, before following Berlin to the other side of the room.

"I talked to the Professor." He told her, and she felt a weight being lifted off her shoulders.

"What did he say?" Verona questioned, desperate for answers on what they were going to do about Moscow.

"They discovered his identity." Berlin admitted, and she felt her whole body tense back up. If they found his hideout, they were done for. "We have to leave as soon as possible." Verona nodded her head quickly, knowing it was the only option. "Get Florence to help Denver start digging."
