Steve's POV

" What will I tell her if she asks about you?" Clara asked me.

" Tell her that I have gone to Sydney for some business deal. Don't tell her that I have come back to USA." I said to her.

" Ok. As you say." She said.

" Yeah, don't tell her anything. And not at all that I am not around." I said to her .

" Alright. Try to come back soon. There can be some problems otherwise." She said.

" Don't worry." I said. " I will be back by the day after tomorrow."

" Better. Bye then. Take care." I said.

" Bye. You too take care." I said and hung up.

I got down from the car and I entered Bennett's house and pressed the bell. I waited for someone to open the door. I kept standing there for awhile until someone opened the door. The door opened and I found Mia standing there. She was a bit shocked finding me standing there. May be she didn't expect me to come here this time.

" Won't you invite me inside?" I asked her.

" Oh...umm... yeah, sure. Come inside, Mr. Blankfein." She said. I rolled my eyes inwardly. I went inside and sat in the living room.

" Where is everyone?" I asked her.

" They are at home. Why?" She asked me.

" Call them." I said.

" I will go and call them. Is that very urgent?" She asked me.

" Yes, very very urgent. Go call them." I said to her. She nodded and went upstairs.

I was waiting for them. I looked around and found those family pictures were not the same. Every picture of her was taken off. There were not her photos there. Like they have deleted her memories.

I clenched my fists. How can someone be this cruel?!! Now I am sure that they have done something. They knew that she will not be able to be here anymore. So, they have just deleted her permanently. That means they have thought for something else about her. How pathetic!!!

" Mr. Blankfein!!" I heard Mrs. Bennett's voice. I turned to her looking at her coldly.

" Good morning, Mrs. Bennett." I said. " I was looking at your family photos. They are beautiful." I said. She nodded trying to understand what I was actually trying to say. " But my wife's photos are missing here which were here even a few days back. I can't find them now." I said. " Weird, no?" I asked and they kept looking at each other. "Come, have a seat. Let's talk." I said and sat there on the couch and they sat across me.

" I have kept those photos in Cindy's luggage in your wedding day." Mia said. I chuckled. Lies.

" Hmm..good." I said. " But I haven't got one anyways." I said. " I was not going to talk about that. I have come to talk with you about something else." I said.

" And what is that, Mr. Blankfein? " Mr. Bennett asked me.

" Who told Cindy about the deal?" I asked them.

" No one has told her." Mia said.

" Have you find her out?" Mrs. Bennett asked.

" I asked the question first. I think you guys don't need to remind what I can do and what I can't. So, it will be better if you guys don't try to lie me like that." I said. " Otherwise I will be forced to take help from cops. You know that is not at all hard for me to make you guys accept everything anyways. Now you guys decide which way do you choose." I said them checking my phone.

" Strange!!! How can we tell that if we haven't done anything?" Mia asked.

" I don't like the liars and I definitely don't like wasting my time." I said and dialed a number. " Henry!! Come to the address that I am sending you." I said.

" Ok." He said and I hung up.

" Who was that?" Mia asked.

" The person who can make you accept everything." I said.

" Police?" Mrs. Bennett asked me.

" Yes." I said.

" Please, stop them. We will tell you everything." She said. I looked at her coldly.

" But tell me then I will think about it." I said.

" What do you want to know?" She asked me.

" What have you guys done to my wife that she has left me like that?" I asked them.

" We haven't done anything to her." Mrs. Bennett said.

" Ok. You don't have to accept anything. Henry will handle you guys." I said.

" Ok, we will tell you everything." Mrs. Bennett said.

" Better?" I said.

" We just made her insecure." She said.

" Well, how?" I asked her.

" The day you guys got married your sister Clara brought her upstairs to change her clothes we followed them and when your sister left we poisoned her brain and told those things so that she leaves you at once." She said.

" You guys talked about the deal?" I asked her.

" Yes. This is why she ran away." She said. I glared at her.

" Why have you guys done that?" I asked them. They were hesitating to say that.

" Speak up!!!" I said and they were scared this time.

" Actually...ummm... Harvey offered us another deal. If I give him Cindy then he will give us 10 millions. This is why... I mean if she runs away then Harvey will be able to kidnap her from there but she fooled everyone by not going to Paris. This is why our plan flopped." Mia said.

" If you were not a girl then you can't even imagine what I would have done to you." I gritted. " She is not a bloody object. She is my wife damn it. I love her. Don't you guys have humanity?!! That girl sacrificed everything for you guys and you repaid her like that?!! You people don't deserve love. You deserve only one thing. That is reaching to you." I said and the doorbell rang. " I think they have reached." I said.

" Mr. Blankfein, you said that you will help us." Mia said.

" You guys don't deserve that. If you can break someone's trust then, I don't think it will be wrong if I break yours. And one more thing I can even forgive people who hurt me but not if anyone tries to hurt my wife. Never ever. No mercy for you." I said and stood up to leave. I don't even want to see these people's face. Selfish!!!
