Happy Couple

Cindy's POV

" Why is that so hard for you to get it?" The girl said to the guy sitting across her.

" It's my workplace. You can't react like that all the time, Miranda." The guy said to the girl.

" Why not, Daniel? Just why not? Since the day we have got married you have changed a lot. You should think about it now. You have to think about us." The girl said.

" And you think I don't think about you? I don't think about us? Then why do I work hard? I work hard because I think about us. I think about us, about our better present and best future. I work hard because I want us to live happily." The guy said.

Actually, what happened was I was having my breakfast here and that couple sat next to my table. They were bickering about their life. I sighed. Very well. Do I have to witness of this kind of thing early in the morning?!! My life is already more messed up than this one.

" But your too much working is making me suffer. I am suffocating being alone all the time. You don't give me time at all. I don't want that much. I want you to be with me. I want to spend time with you." She said.

" We spend our weekend together." He said. " Isn't that enough?" He asked.

" No it is not. You no more have dinner with me like you used to have before. You come home late and leave early. At least have breakfast and dinner at home. But your work is keeping you away from me, Daniel. I am having insecurities." She said in a soft voice.

" Mira, look... " He sighed. " I do everything for you. For your happiness. For your smile. I also want to give you those things your friends have. That night you were talking about that friend of yours living like a Queen and I realized I haven't given you anything that you deserve. I am sorry if that keep suffocating you. But I just wanted to afford those things to you." He said looking down.

How cute!!! He really loves her a lot. He wants to make all her wishes comes true. I wish I could have someone like this?!! But no. I don't want to stuck with anyone again. Enough of drama. But they are cute.

I looked back at them. He was waiting for her to react and she looked at him weirdly then suddenly she slapped him hard. This time I looked at the girl weirdly. Is she mad!!? He cupped his cheek and looked at her shocked. She was biting her lip to stop herself from crying loudly. She just hugged him at once and kept sobbing.

" Why are you crying now, Mira? What happened?" He hugged her back.

" You are a stupid." She said.

" Yes, I know that. This why I love you insanely." He said and she punched on his back.

" Idiot. " She said.

" Ok, if that pleases you." He said.

" Did I ask those things from you?" She asked breaking the hug.

" No. But I thought to give you everything you deserve." He said wiping her tears. She rolled her eyes.

" I was just saying that. Her family was rich already. She had married a guy who is drug addicted. She got divorced. Now she has everything but not peace in her life. I don't need riches like her. You are my biggest reward. No one can love me like you. I don't need anything but you. Why don't you understand that I only want your love. Other things will not help me much like your love will do. It will keep me alive. Don't ignore me. It hurts." She said and he chuckled. He took her hands and kissed on them.

" You are the gift from heaven for me." He said. " You look cute when you don't cry." He said.

" Oh, when I cry I look like a witch?" She asked him narrowing her eyes.

" No." He said.

" Then? " She asked suspiciously.

" You look like Dracula." He said.

" You...." She took her purse and started to hit him with that. He started to laugh trying dodge her hits. I smiled.

" I will go back to my mom's house tomorrow." She said.

" Ok." He said sipping his coffee.

" I will not come back again." She said angrily.

" Ok. Before you go please arrange my closet for 7 days." He said.

" I will not be back in 7 days." She said.

" No, I will remarry in 7 days." He said. I chuckled. This guy surely loves to fall in trouble.

" You will what?!! " She looked at him weirdly.

" Remarry. Don't worry I will send you the invitation card. Come with your family. You have to be present there." He said.

" Go. Get married. I don't care. I will go far away from you with my baby." She said touching her belly. This was when I realized that she was pregnant. God bless them.

" Umm...nah, ma'am. My kid is mine. After he or she is born will live with his or her father." He said. She gritted.

" I will not give my baby to you." She said. " I will not let my baby grow up with a step mom. They are evil." She said.

" Who said they will live with a step mom?" He asked her.

" What do you mean by who said? If you get married again then your wife will be their step mom. Won't she?" She asked.

" It's not necessary." He said.

" Don't irritate me. Your wife will be my baby's step mom." She said.

" She will be his or her mom only. Not a step one." He said.

" How is that?" She asked.

" Stupid, because I will marry you. Again. Do you have any problem with that?!" He asked her. She looked at her weirdly.

" Were you talking...I mean...you were talking about me all the time?" She asked her.

" No, I have 3 more wives. Foolish girl." He said and she rolled her eyes.

" Hey!!! You are foolish." She said .

" You are foolish of this era. How can I marry someone else. I already am married and I love my foolish wife." He said. She narrowed her eyes at him.

" I hate you." She said.

" No, you don't." He said and kissed her cheek. She sighed and hugged him tightly.

I chuckled and stood up. I paid the bills ad came out of their. I was feeling very happy after meeting this Happy couple early in the morning. God may keep their happiness safe from evil eyes. I crossed my heart.
