Cindy's POV

" I hate you." Chloe said to us.

" Ok. Bye. Have a nice date." Gina said and Chloe threw the file at her but she was able to save herself.

" What's wrong with you, girl?" Gina asked her.

" Die." She said and walked out of her cabin stomping her feet.

" This girl is weird." Gina said.

" Really?! I thought we all are." RD said.

" Umm... That's true too." She said and I sighed. " I mean I agree with you. This is why we are friends. If not then we wouldn't be friends."

" Logic." Ann said and I rolled my eyes.

" Yeah, right." I said to them.

" Alright, girls. I gotta go." Gina said.

" Where are you going?" I asked her.

" Going to meet my mom's best friend. She came here a few hours back and she wants me to meet her." She said excitedly.

" Oh, that's great. But why do I think there is something else. This is not the expression which you should have going to meet the best friend of your mom." RD said.

" Why do you think like that?" Gina asked her.

" Because you have a stupid smile plastered on your face and you are trying to hide your blushing face." RD said and Gina checked herself in the mirror.

" I am not blushing." She said.

" Then why were you checking yourself?" RD asked and I chuckled.

" Because...errrr...ummm.... alright. Nothing like that. I was just checking myself. Now can't I?" She asked us.

" You can but it's still a mystery that why are you blushing like that." Ann said.

" I am not blushing." Gina said.

" Well, you are trying to hide that." I said and she glared at all of us. Then smiled shyly.

" Huhhhhhh!!! You are blushing now. What's wrong?" Ann asked touching her cheeks which turned into red. Gina cleared her throat.

" Ahem...umm...she is my crush's mom. You know. Childhood crush. Hoping to meet him today. Uhhhh.... My heart." She pressed her palm on her heart dramatically and I chuckled though Ann rolled her eyes and RD gave her a straight face without any expressions.

" Why are you acting like hormonal teen girl?" Ann asked her.

" I am going to meet my crush. I have to be excited. Don't you think so?" Gina asked.

" You are overexcited." Ann said.

" Yeah, whatever." She said. She fixed her make up then fixed her hair. " How do I look?" She asked us.

" Perfect." I said.

" You always look beautiful no need to ask." Ann said.

" True." I said.

" Ok. Girls. I am getting late. Bye. See you guys." She said and took her bag then walked out of there.

" Crazy people all around." RD said.

" Do you have a date tonight?" I asked RD.

" No. I am free tonight. But we have to go for shopping. Do you wanna join? We have to do some groceries as well." RD said.

" I think I will just go home and take rest. I am very tired. I need sleep." I said to them and they nodded.

" Then you go. Sleep. You look tired." Ann said. I chuckled.

" Yes. A bit." I said.

" Then go. We will be leaving as well." RD said and I nodded and walked out of there.

I walked out of the office building. I searched for a taxi. I needed to go back home. It was feeling like my eyes are getting closed without my permission. I wasn't able to keep them close no matter how hard I try to keep them open. It's so weird now. I looked around if I get a taxi.

" You can come with me anyways." I heard a very familiar voice from back.

I turned at once. As soon as I turned I found Steve standing two steps back and I lost my balance in this sudden incident. I was about to fall down on the ground and I closed my eyes preparing myself to kiss the ground but I felt I didn't. I opened my eyes and found myself in his arms. He was looking at me smirkingly. I narrowed my eyes at him. He chuckled. I examined him for awhile. He was looking dashing as usual. He helped me to stand on my feet after chuckling at this situation and I kept looking at him. I tried to figure out why was I not reacting in this. I should shout at him for touching me. But for a weird reason I wasn't doing anything like that. Weird me.

" Ma'am, get in." He said opening the door of the car.

" I can manage." I said to him.

" I can also manage to take you home with me anyways. Now it's depend on you which one do you like." He said and I glared at him. It didn't work on him as always.

I sighed and got in the car because I was too tired to pull a fight with him and I don't want to create a scene here in public in front of my office. He closed the door and got in the car from the other side. I leaned back and closed my eyes. Suddenly I felt he was near me. I opened my eyes and found him looking at me smilingly.

" What are you doing?" I asked him.

" Relax." He said chuckling and fastened my seatbelt securely around me.

I looked at him weirdly. He was looking at me as well. We both were looking into each other's eyes. I don't know why it was too hard to read his eyes. But I was trying to figure out that emotion. He leaned a bit more and I was frozen. Like his eyes got me their prisoner and kept me hypnotized on that spot. I wasn't able to come out of that spell. God knows why I was feeling like that. I just was utterly confused with myself and that weird moment. I don't know what to do in this situation. Because it was a completely new experience to me. I don't know for how long I was looking at him. I only realized that I was looking at him all the time when I heard his voice.

" I missed you." He said softly and the next thing he did which left me utterly shocked. He kissed on my forehead then moved away. " Did you miss me?" He asked me.

I looked at him. I don't know what to answer him. Because I myself don't know what to answer him. Did I miss him?! I don't know. But for a weird reason my heart was telling me to say yes because it wasn't ready to hurt him.

What's wrong with me?!! I was acting so weird.
