Cindy's POV

" What has the doctor said?" Clara asked Steve.

" He said that she is just very scared about the incident what happened earlier. That's why she as lost her sense. She will be alright. There is no severe injury." He said.

" But why isn't she waking up?" I asked him.

" She needs sleep and it will help her to come out of that shock. So they have given her an injection. She will wake up in a few hours." He said.

" Is she alright? I mean they haven't done anything to her, right?" Clara asked hesitatingly.

" Luckily not. She might've ran away from there saving herself but couldn't take the stress anymore." He said looking at the cabin. I just hold his hand and he looked at me. I gave him a weak smile. He sighed deeply but hold my hand tightly intertwining our fingers.

" I was very scared. I never thought that I will find Chloe in such a state which she was earlier. She was always the savage girl and kinda never loses in anything. I mean anything. She always wins every difficulties but what happened today that made her this scared today?" He asked me in a helpless tone.

" She is fine. Don't worry. Nothing will happen to Chloe. She will be alright." I said softly and he sighed deeply.

" She has to." He said and I nodded.

" Just don't think about what happened earlier. Think about Chloe. She needs us and our help. You can't break down in such a situation." I said to him. He looked at me and sighed. Then kept his head on my shoulder.

We kept sitting there without saying anything. I don't know how long we were sitting there like that. He straighten himself when we heard Nova's whining. She was whining for chocolate. I sighed.

" What happened?" I asked Steve as he stood up.

" I will get her chocolate." Steve said and leaned then kissed on my forehead. " I will be back soon." He said and I nodded.

I took my phone and checked it. Matt has called and texted me like thousands of times. I forgot my phone somewhere when I was with Steve. I didn't get it this why. I decided to call him back. It's better to talk to him than checking his texts. I was thinking if he is awake in this hour of night. I was just thinking about it then came to a decision. I called him and he picked it up after 3 rings.

" Hello, Matt." I said.

" Cindy, where are you?" He asked me.

" Leave it. Tell me why were you searching for me all that time?" I asked him.

" Do you know where Chloe is? I am searching for this girl from this evening and she is nowhere to be found around Melbourne. By any chance have she gone somewhere out of Melbourne? I can't contact her. She left her phone in her apartment." He said all these in one breath. I sighed.

" Why were you searching for her?" I asked him.

" She was to have a dinner with me tonight but she never ever showed up." He said. " I when went to her place to pick her up she had already left. But she has never reached my place. Where has she gone?!!" He asked me.

" How do you know she has left her phone at home?" I asked him.

" I got her phone tracked." He said. I sighed. I forgot that he is Matthew Winsdor.

"Alright. May be she has left her phone there." I said.

" Is she with you? If she is then just assure me that she is safe." He said.

" She is not ok." I said.

" What?! Why? What happened?" He asked me.

" I will text you the address. You just reach here as soon as it possible. We will talk face to face then. You can meet her as well." I said.

" Once I meet her just once she will be dead." He said. I sighed.

" Alright. Bye. See you in awhile." I said to him and hung up. I texted him the address of the hospital.

I was coming back but my phone started to ring again. It was Matt. Why is he calling me again?!

" Hello, Matt?" I said.

" Why are you guys in the hospital? Everything ok?" He asked me.

" No, everything is not ok. This is why I told you to reach the hospital as soon as it possible." I said.

" Are you ok? Is she ok?" He asked me.

" I am fine but Chloe is not. She is currently sleeping in the hospital bed." I said.

" What the hell has happened? Why can't you just tell me?" He asked me.

" I will tell you. You just come here. I will tell you everything." I said.

" Alright. I am coming. Take care of her." He said and hung up.

I was thinking about them. If Matt asked Chloe that he will pick her up then why had she left earlier?! That too leaving her phone at home?! I mean if he told her to stay at home then she would definitely stay and wait for him. But what happened all in a sudden that she had to leave home before he reached there?!! But that too leaving everything at home. At least she could take her phone with her but that too she left at home. What just happened?!!

I thought for a second then suddenly it came into my mind. Is that possible that someone has kept kidnapped her from her home?!! No, no, that building is like a fortress and it's secured. But then how come she was kidnapped?!! I can't think about it anymore. What might have happened?! It's clear that she was kidnapped before Matt reached there. That means it was early in the evening. If we can find out who have gone to that floor that time then we might have a clue about this. I was thinking and suddenly someone patted on my shoulder. I turned and found Steve standing there.

" What happened?" He asked me. I thought for a second. It's better to tell him. He can do something about this.

" I want to tell you something." I said and he nodded. I started to tell him everything from the start. His facial expressions started to change. I could say that he was in extreme rage. Not only him if I get those bloody kidnappers then I don't know what I will do either. If I murder them then it won't be shocking.
