Steve's POV

" Everything ok?" I asked Peter.

" Yeah, everything is fine, Steve. You can check." He said.

He is my highschool friend. I told him everything about Bennett family. He assured me that they will take the proper steps against them. Yes, I could have just buried them alive for this unforgivable thing but the fact is they wouldn't be able to realize their fault. If I would have killed them this easily then they wouldn't be suffering much. I just want them to suffer as long as they are alive and I will make sure that they does.

" No need just be careful about these people. I don't want them get rid of here anyhow. They will try to hurt my wife." I said to him and he nodded.

" Don't worry, Steve. We will not let anyone harm Mrs. Blankfein." He said and I nodded.

" Thanks for the help anyways." I said

" It was my duty." He said. I walked out of there after talking to him for awhile.

I walked out of there and thought for awhile. I will be leaving for Melbourne in 8 hours. I don't want to go to our house now because without my family it is so empty for me. I decided to go to my father's house. To meet them. I drove the car toward the house. I reached there and parked the car. I entered the house.

" Steve!!" I heard Joanna my stepmom calling me.

" Yes, me. Can't I come here?" I asked her.

" No,no. Don't take me wrong. I haven't said that like that. I didn't mean it. It's your house too. You can come here anytime you want. But you suddenly came without informing. This is why I was asking." She said.

" Oh, I have to inform now before I come here? I didn't know that." I said to her.

" Don't take me wrong, Steve. I am sorry if that hurt you." She said.

" It's ok. Where is Mr. Blankfein?" I asked her.

" He is your dad, Steve. Can't you solve the issues with him now?! It's been years." She said.

" I don't know. No use of forgiving him. He will not change ever. So, I am not going to try to do anything for that. You should understand that." I said.

" I do understand that but still. You should think about it." She said and I kept quiet for awhile.

" I don't want to talk in this matter." I said to her. She sighed deeply.

" Ok, if you say so." She said.

" Where are Dorothy and Abraham?" I asked her.

" They have gone to school. Will come back soon." She said.

" Oh, ok." I said.

" You get freshen up. I will go and serve the lunch." She said.

" Hmm...ok." I said and walked upstairs to my room.

I seldom stay here in this house but Joanna always takes cares of my stuffs here. This is why this room is always neat and clean whenever I come here. I always feel like I am living in this room for years not just came to stay here as a guest. I closed the door behind and I walked towards the closet. I walked inside it and found my clothes kept there neatly. Joanna really deserves a big thanks for that.

I took my clothes and suddenly that photo came to view that was stuck on the closet. I smiled at the photo and touched it softly. There was a smiling little girl on the photo. She was giggling and trying to catch a butterfly in the garden very excitedly. I feel like I can hear that sound of her beautiful smile. The photo was a bit old but that girl still has the same effect on my heart, my soul and all over me. She still rules my heart and soul and she will always.
