1 week later...

Cindy's POV

I hold his hand who was looking blankly ahead. His eyes were not shining like they always do. I sighed deeply. He has got the same shock twice in his life. His mother left them when he was very young and now that he lost his father in such a condition. I don't know how to console him. I just kept sitting with him there on the balcony. I hugged him from back. He was silent. I kept my chin on his shoulder and hugged him tighter. He didn't respond. I sighed and kept hugging him silently. I knew he was so shocked in this sudden departure of his father. Moreover he is holding himself responsible for that. He is not responsible for that. It was meant to happen. He couldn't stop it anyways. What would he do in this?!! Steve wanted his father lives happily with his family this why he decided not to keep attached with his dad anymore because eventually Mrs. Blankfein will not like that anyways.

This why he wanted to make things clear. So that things never keeps bothering any of us. Cause no matter what Mrs. Blankfein couldn't be trusted anymore. She could do anything that she wants. She could even hurt us again. At least that's what Steve thought. So, he wanted to give her peace of mind. But he never thought his father will leave them like this. I sighed. God helps us to make things right.

I remembered it was Steve's medicine time. He has to take them in time. I stood up and was about to go inside the room but he hold my hand. I looked at him. He was still looking ahead without blinking.

" Where are you going?" He asked me.

" It's your medicine time, Steve." I said.

" Stay." He said

" I will be back in just two minutes." I said. He left my hand letting me go.

I ran inside the room and took the medicines. I sat next to him and gave him medicines. He looked at me. His eyes were red and puffy. May be Steve shows the whole word that he is string and came out of the lose but the truth is he hasn't. He keeps shedding tears when no one is watching him. Not even me. Why does he keep hiding his pain like this?!! He shouldn't do that.

" You can cry if you are in pain. Keeping pain inside yourself will not help you at all." I said to him and he looked at me weirdly. " I know that. I saw you last night. Stop hiding it, Steve. We took vows that we will keep supporting each other in every situation of life and share everything, right? Now why are you hiding things from me?! Do I not deserve that?! Or don't I have the right?" I asked him. I sighed deeply as I found him still sitting there silently and was about to stand up but he stopped me holding my hand. He pulled me closer and I was now in his arms. I hugged him back tightly.

" I don't want to make you tensed." He said to me.

" You think I am very happy now?! When you hide things from me it keeps making me worried about you. I am your wife. You have to understand that clearly. You can share anything and everything with me. Why do you keep hesitating about that?" I asked him. He just hugged me further tightly.

" No, don't do that. Don't touch me until you understand the meaning of wife completely." I said but he didn't let me go. " Leave me." I said to him but he didn't.

" No one can separate you from me. Not even you yourself." He said and I sighed.

" Then why do you keep hiding thing?! It hurts me a lot." I said to him.

" Won't hide it anymore." He said burying his face on my neck. I don't know from how long we were there hugging each other. Suddenly I remembered that the asset attorney called a meeting this evening at Blankfein's Villa. The will of Mr. Blankfein will be opened today.

" We are invited to the Blankfein Villa this evening." I said to him slowly.

" Why?" He asked me without bothering to look at me. He kept burying his face in my neck. I sighed.

" Mr. Blankfein's testament will be opened today. You should present there." I said to him patting his head softly.

" I don't want to go." He said.

" Why, Steve?" I asked him.

" What will I do with those properties if I don't have my parents? I don't want anything. Mrs. Blankfein can keep them. I lost my everything. Properties is not more important than my parents." He said and I sighed deeply.

" At least you should go to keep the invitation. You don't have to take the property or anything else. Patrick has told the same thing." I told him. He sighed deeply.

" What time is it now?" He asked me.

" It's already 4. We have to be present there by 6." I said to him and he nodded.

" Get ready. I will be back in 15 minutes." He said.

" But what will I do there?" I asked him.

" What were you saying awhile back that we will keep supporting each other all the time?! Then why are you moving back now?" He asked me and I rolled my eyes.

I got ready and we reached Blankfein's Villa at 5:30. It was a bit earlier. Only close family members were there. We were sitting there side by side. Suddenly Steve got a call and I was talking to Nova. She was quite smart for her 5 years of old. I chuckled at her naughtiness. She then started to play with my locks. I chuckled.

" Cindy Grace, right?!" I heard someone saying and I turned to see a guy standing there with a smirk on his face. I sighed inwardly. This guy wants to get killed by my husband. I am not responsible anyways.

" No, it's Mrs. Rovenstine for you. And thanks you may leave now." I said.

" That wasn't an answer I was wishing to get." He said and I controlled my anger hard.

" Then go to some brothel you will get a better answer." Before I could say something I heard someone saying and turned to see Mrs. Blankfein with a straight face standing a few feet away from that guy. I looked at her weirdly. She didn't match my gaze just left as soon as that guy left. Then Steve came back along with Clara and Patrick.

" Everything ok?" He asked me and I nodded.

We sat there and the asset attorney read the whole testament for us. It was clearly saying Mr. Blankfein has distributed every single thing he owned among his 4 children.

" I have something to say." Steve said.

" Sure, sir." The asset attorney said.

" Clara and I don't need anything. You make another document and name everything to Abraham and Dorothy. I only want my mother's wedding ring if it's possible because it's my mother's memory. It's emotional value is more than anything else to me." Steve said and asset attorney thought for a second.

" Ok, sir. I will do that." He said.

Oh, that was easy. I thought there will be a storm.
