Nagito looked over at (Name), his chin on his palm.

"Nagito, what are you staring at?" Hajime asked.

"(Name). She's so beautiful, isn't she? I'm blessed just to be on the same island as her." The white-haired male sighed with a smile, like he was in a fantasy.

"Right... go talk to her, then." Hajime lightly shoved his friend forward, knocking him off balance.

"What? Me talk to her? She'd never talk to some low trash like me." Nagito smiled nervously, waving him off.

"No, you're a pretty nice guy. I'm sure she thinks the same," Hajime assured him. He chuckled softly and nudged him. "Go on."

"If you insist..." Nagito was hesitant in standing up, but once he did, he couldn't turn back.

He was true to himself about what he said. In his eyes, (Name) was the most beautiful person he'd ever seen—and although it's been just three days since Usami trapped them on an island, he couldn't help but fall head-over-heels.

And that was just looks alone. He was even more excited to see how she acted, behaved, and how her personality was like.

He was so busy thinking to himself he didn't realize he had passed her.

"Hey, Nagito? Where are you going?" her voice, that was like music to his ears, asked.

"Ah, I was just... heading to talk to you." He hated how brutally honest he was.

"Oh." But instead of what he thought she would react, she giggled. "Well, I'm right here. Thinking too much?"

Only about you, my dear, he told himself. Of course, he'd never say that out loud. "Yeah, just thinking... but you're here, so..."

"Yeah! So what's up?" she asked.

"I, uh..." Nagito couldn't find the right words, until he finally said, "Hi?"

"Hi, Nagito." (Name) didn't seem to mind his nervousness, and she only hooked her arm around his, walking off with him. "Hey, let's talk somewhere else. Maybe where we can sit down?"

"Yeah, that sounds good..." The lucky student looked back at Hajime, just to see him holding up his thumbs with a smirk.

(Name) had led him to the hotel area, and she sat down by the pool. "It's actually not that bad around here... don't you think?"

"Our situation could be better... but nothing truly awful is happening to us," he agreed with her, nodding. "I'm just glad for that."

"And everyone is so nice. I mean, Hiyoko and Fuyuhiko can be kinda mean, but... there's always at least one person like that, right?" She smiled up at him.

"Although... given our situation, being locked up on an island with a mechanical stuffed bunny, I'd keep my guard up," Nagito told her. He found himself now engaged in the conversation, his nervousness leaving him.

"Yeah, that makes sense... I'd hate for anything bad to happen to anyone here." (Name) sighed.

Caring about the people here, even only knowing them for a short time... so sweet.

"What makes you think that will happen?" Nagito asked. "I mean, if that's what you think."

"No, I promise it isn't. It's just that in reality, strange circumstances lead to awful things," she told him. "Has that never happened to you?"

"Can't say it has. You know, I am the Ultimate Lucky Student." He shrugged, but smiled.

"Right. I forgot, you have insane good luck." (Name) let out a small giggle. "So these type of things don't usually happen to you, huh?"

"No, not really. This is actually the first time."

"Well then, I hope you're glad for your talent."

"Trust me, it's no talent. I think the bunny just needed an extra student." Nagito lifted his hands up, waving the comment off. "But..."

"But?"

"I heard that if you kiss someone lucky, nothing bad will happen to you for twenty-four hours." Nagito couldn't help but grin, now. "You should try it."

"Is that so?" (Name) leaned back a bit, smirking. "I've never heard of that."

"I'd trust me if I were you. Didn't you say that in a situation like this, bad things could happen?"

She narrowed her eyes toward him and said, "I guess I did say that." She then got on her knees, facing him. "Alright, Nagito. Come here."

He didn't hesitate to scoot a bit closer to her, putting a hand on her cheek as he leaned in, kissing her softly. (Name) wrapped her arms around his neck, quickly melting into the kiss.

Nagito had no intention of pulling away, his hand moving down to her waist and holding her. He couldn't believe that his words worked—he was now kissing the girl he was crushing on for what, three days? He really was lucky.

When the two finally pulled their lips apart, (Name) was the first to smile. "So am I free of all bad luck?"

He chuckled, "Remember, it's just for twenty-four hours. You might have to kiss me again tomorrow."

"I'll take you up on that offer." She grinned before standing up, taking his hands in hers and bringing him up with her.

A/N: I wish someone would look at me the way Nagito looks at the reader.
