Not only did Kazuichi have eyes on Sonia, but ever since that one day, so has Gundham.

Although he wasn't as obsessed, Sonia seemed to be with him more lately—it really did piss him off a little.

Maybe now would be the time to say something to him about it.

So when he caught him just finishing up a conversation with Sonia, the princess walking off with a smile, he made his way over.

"Hey, Gundham!"

The breeder didn't even greet him—only blinked and stared in slight annoyance at his presence.

And seeing the pissed expression the mechanic wore, he figured he wouldn't even bother.

"What's going on with you and Miss Sonia, huh?" he questioned. "You do realize you have no shot with her, right?"

"I do not understand what you mean by those words... however, whatever shot Gundham Tanaka, the Forbidden One, takes... he makes."

The low chuckle that came out of the taller male only angered Kazuichi more, as he didn't seem to get the point. Or maybe he did, and he was just playing dumb.

Whichever it was, it was really pissing him off, now.

And he knew, he knew Sonia wasn't his to tell Gundham off like this—but of course, he was the jealous type, and if sees another boy even look at the princess a certain way, he'll burst.

"You think this is some kind of joke?" he spat, clenching his shark-like teeth. "Quit laughing about it!"

"I am merely suppressing my laughter due to the blasphemies that come out of your muzzle," the breeder spoke bluntly, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Argh... she's mine, Gundham!"

Now, hearing those words, he blinked his two-colored eyes. "Yours?" An evil laugh escaped him. "The dark queen herself belongs to nobody, let alone someone of your level."

"How dare you? Miss Sonia is an angel!" Kazuichi shouted, crossing his arms. "Not some dark queen—if anything, she'll be a queen of heaven!"

"I do not wish to stay here any longer—I cannot stand to hear more of your pathetic words," Gundham huffed. And just as he said, he turned on his heel and began to walk off.

"H- Hey! Don't just walk off when I haven't finished arguing with you!"

"Then what else do you have to argue? This was all a waste of my time!"

"I said it once and I'll say it again—don't even think about making a move on her, Gundham."

With that supposed threat, the breeder turned back around and stepped toward him, arms crossed. "And, by the slim chance, what would you do if I did, mere mortal?"

Kazuichi clenched his fist, wishing the latter didn't have two inches on him. "Don't be an asshole."

"Hmph. Empty threats and pathetic remarks are the only things that you spit out of your mouth," Gundham mocked, a hint of a smirk on his face.

"You...!"

At this point, Kazuichi was about to storm off and stop the argument—it was pointless now, and he was beginning to realize it was pointless in the beginning, too.

However, just as he was about to, Gundham seemed to have the same idea, and their foots crossed. They were conveniently close to the wall where when Kazuichi was going to fall forward, the breeder pushed him back and he hit the wall instead.

And as he was falling forward, he used his arm as a landing and it was also conveniently placed next to his head, trapping him there.

The two stared at each other for a few seconds, Kazuichi's face being the first to heat up the second he realized the position they were in.

What's worse, Gundham didn't even bother to move. He just stood there, staring down at the mechanic, his eyes darting left and right, away from him, and up and down. The blush on his face was unmistakable as well.

"Uh... are you gonna...?" Kazuichi questioned, his voice lowered and slightly nervous.

Gundham cleared his throat, lifting his arm and standing up straight. He lifted his scarf over his mouth, covering up at least some of the pink on his pale face—it was too late for hiding, however.

"I believe now would be... the right time to part," he said.

"Agreed! Uh, see you later!"

Kazuichi ran off, not wanting to be there any longer. He slapped his hands over his face, a groan escaping him.

"What was that?"

The two had some type of moment, that much was obvious. But neither could figure out what it was they were feeling in those seconds.

Sure, it had been an accidental coincidence that they ended up in that position, but neither moved—and he had pushed him onto the wall instead of letting him fall. That has to say something.

Gundham had a similar, if not the same reaction to the situation. His blush was still on his cheeks and he refused to lower his scarf until it faded away.

It was best to say that neither of them thought about Sonia for the rest of the day.

A/N: Sorry this was a little short. : (
