In the dark hallway of Aaron's house, dusty objects stay sitting on the hardwood creaky scratched floor boarded floor. The tall shadow of the stairs leading upwards. A carpet following the stairs up right in the middle of them and colourless once golden poles lay under each step.

The twirled metal rails lead the stairs to their destination. But several cracks are killing the beauty of the rail.

I begin to follow Harry and Aaron down the long hallway. Obviously Aaron's leading us towards the door partly opened at the end of the corridor, light beams through the cracks and the bottom. Letting as much sunlight as possible but yet barely any can push through into the dark cold house.

The walking is taking time and as I pass the stairs creaks disturb my ears making me look up as quickly as possible to see nothing but thing air.

I slowly turn my head back towards Harry and Aaron but my leave my eyes on the staircase, just in case.

But I continue walking so that I cannot see the stairs anymore, that I have gone past them so my eyes follow where my body leads. Right in front of my eyes Aaron disappears.

In that moment the door opposite me and Harry opens and the light beams through. Aaron stands there, greeting us as we walk into the light filled wall.

Seven massive windows fill the squared room. Outlines of chairs and tables which now have dirty white clothes over them.

The French doors filled with dirt and the cream walls mouldy. The dark wooden floors covered with dents and scratches. I have to say, there are a lot of scratches around this place.

The windows look out towards the over-grown garden. Weeds piled high. Bushes sticking out. The lake over filling. Some trees fallen, others dead or over growing. You can't tell the difference between the grass and the stepping stones because it's been that long.

"Why did you bring us here? " I ask Aaron, meaning both the house and this room.

"Because I need to tell you something." He replies.

I look out onto the garden again. This house is next door to mind but our gardens are so far apart you can't see the other from another.

'Becs, where are you?' I hear a voice say.

Williams voice.

'Becs, why are you at Aaron's house?' Willaim asks me through my mind.

Out of the corner of my eye I see Aaron narrowing his eyes at me but I look away from his glance, but yet he still stares.

'I'm trying to find answers.' I tell William through my mind.

'I don't think that's a good idea.'

'why not?'

'there are some dangerous things in this world and Aaron and this house are one of them!'

'then why aren't you here to stop me?'

'because I can't get in.'

'why not?'

'because Aaron is the only ghost allowed in, only he can get in, only the house let's him in.'

Why is William talking about the house is a thing?

'but I've seen other ghost here.'

'what!? Becs get out now! They're not ghosts!'

"Rebecca? Are you okay?" Aaron completely interrupt William.

"Where you reading my mind?" I snap at Aaron.

He sighs. "There's nothing bad here."

"Aaron tell me." I say through clenched teeth. "What is this house? And who are you?"

"Fine. I'm the boy who created the nightmares this house brings to life." He frowns, like he's ashamed. "Welcome to the house of fears."

"What?" I struggle to come out with words.

"And that thing you saw and seeing now." He pauses and let's me see the figure in the garden not too far away. "They're your fears."

"B-but I don't have any fears!"

"Then its not yours then is it?" At that moment we both turn to Harry who's face has dropped and a pure look of fear has walked across his face. "What's Harry's fear then?"

"Clowns." I whisper.
