There (Haunted)

Chapter forty-three

Flickering blue lights are in front of us. I know for a fact Harry is conscious but he only woke up around about 5minutes ago.

When William is still unconscious. He lays there still in the middle of the ambulance as he wears an oxygen mask.

My mum follows close behind with me sitting in the front seat next to her. We're driving in Harry's car.

Jenna and Theo went in the ambulance with Harry and William to support them. I hope they're alright.

The sirens roar to all the other cars to live out if the way and we follow shortly after.

After a little while we pull up into the hospital parking lot and the paramedics rush in with William still unconscious and another younger female paramedic guide Harry in. Supposedly he needs a check up to make sure he's alright. After all he just fainted after not eating and drinking for two days straight.

Jenna follows with a older male paramedic, she's need a check up as well.

Finally Theo comes rushing out of the neon yellow, green and white ambulance.

I open the car door and jump door slamming the door behind me.

We rush in, dodging past the public, saying sorry every time our shoulders bashed against a strangers!

We finally make it to the entrance. Hopelessly we stand in the middle of the entrance corridor, people sprinting past, ill people hurrying away.

But I get my phone out and text Theo.

As soon as I finish texting him I go to reach to put my phone away in my back pocket and it pings!

Theo texts me where he is and I quickly tell my mum.

So we quickly walk towards where they are.

Soon enough, we find them. Well, only Jenna and Theo.

So I push open the door to see Jenna getting the simple check up to make sure shes alright and not completely ill.

"Where's Harry and William?" I ask.

Theo sits in the corner of the small light hospital room. There are 2 nurse, 1 female, the other male, and a male doctor, checking Jenna.

Theo sits on the blue hospital chair, his elbows resting on his knees and his face in his. Then I look over to Jenna.

Her eyes bloodshot and her cheeks wet, she sniffs and I can tell shes been crying some more.

Theo looks up at me and says, "Harry is resting, Jenna only starved for barely a day but Harry hadn't eaten properly the day before, so overall he starved for 3 days and hadn't drunk anything for about 2 1/2 days. He's done the hall."

"And William?" I question.

"Oh god. How do I say this.."

"What?" My voice comes out harsher than I was hoping for.

"He's in a coma."

"What? But how?"

"He had a brain tumour."

"For how long?"

"Several years. Since he stared seeing ghosts."

"But that doesn't make sense."

"Yeah, I know. But you have to understand you cannot let Rose use her powers against you because if you're anything like William and his dad you will be dead straight away."

"Wait, what do you mean?"

"Soon you will be able to see ghosts. William and his dad obviously both could, but they both had a brain tumour. You know Aaron?"

"Yes."

"Well, every bad ghost, like Aaron, Rose and Charles, look I know this sounds stupid but they have this curse, and its the power to continue killing. So basically earlier William told me that Aaron made William's dad unconscious, using that special power, but the power really effected his brain, causing the tumour to grow and kill him. And thats how William's dad died."

"So your saying William could die?"

"Possibly. And another thing is we're getting you a CAT scan, for you brian, to see if the tumour has started to grow."

"I have a brain tumour?!"

"Maybe."

"Oh great."

"Honey, it will be okay. You properly don't." My mum smiles.

My side leans against the wall as I look through the window in the door to see William silently laying there, machines everywhere, and I know that will help keep him alive longer.

But there is a small part of me that thinks we're going to have to turn off those machines and he will go, like his father. And I know that I will be left alone, probably like he was when he first discovered he could see ghosts and then his dad died. That's how I presume it happened.

I know he was a little younger than me when his brain turned on him but I all so know he knew straight away that he had a tumour. How do I even know if I have one?!

"Becca?" Theo says from behind me.

Jenna had the all clear from the doctors but they want to keep Harry for a little while longer so the doctors know if he'll be alright, so Jenna's with him.

I turn around and face my cousin. My mum next to him, a sad look crosses her face, and I know some things wrong.

"I didn't want to tell you this earlier. William died about 2 minutes after some doctors took him into surgery. They tried everything but the tumour killed him, Rose killed him." He slowly says, his voice full of pain.

My face drops, and I feel a tone of emotions. This cannot be real.

This isn't happening!

It can't be!

It just cant!
