I wait and I wait for the power to finally hit me and kill me but it never comes.
I'm surrounded by ghosts with shocked looks on their faces as I see the power bounces off me and heads straight towards Harry!
"That's impossible!" He exclaims before it hits him.
He falls back and falls to the floor. Harry stills lies there but yet there is a ghost hovering on top of him that looks the same. He gives me a final glare then disappears.
Charles is gone from Harry's body. Harry is finally free!
I rush over and help Harry up on his feet.
"What the hell happened?!" He rubs his head.
But I help him to his feet.
I quickly tell him what happened and one by one the ghosts around us disappear.
Marshall rushes out of the car. "Hey guys I need to quickly go back to my house. My dad wants to see me and you Rebecca and as Harry's driving he has to come to!"
***
Harry pulls onto Marshall's driveway. His house is a a large old Victorian styled house. It's on a quiet lane with several similar looking houses.
"Guys come in." Marshall yells from the now open front door.
So me and Harry make our way inside. We walk through the large dark old fashioned hallway towards the kitchen opposite the front door.
I look at the stairs. There I see a little blonde girl, about 4 years old. She stairs at me. Her blonde hair curls then out up into pigtails. Her skin pale. She's like William, she doesn't look dead. She might not be. But I would say as both Harry and Marshall ignored her they didn't see her, so yeah, she's dead. Better make sure though.
"Marshall do you have a younger sister?" I shout out.
"Nope, I'm a only child." He replies.
Yes, she's dead.
We walk into the newly updated fashionable kitchen. Completely different from the rest of the house.
"You guys can sit down, we need to wait for my dad might be a while. Do you want anyth-" Marshall says but is interrupted by a loud bang above us.
We all look up.
"What was that?" Harry whispers.
I look to the doorway because I see a little figure out if the corner of my eye. Slowly she walks up to me.
"That man's in my room again." she frowns.
I can't speak out loud to her so hopefully she can hear my thoughts or read my mind.
'who is?' I say through my mind.
"A tall man. I can't see him though, it's to dark." she we says.
'okay, what's your name?'
"Annie."
'okay Annie, I can try to help you. Is he a ghost?'
"I don't know! I don't know!" she yells then disappears like a blink of a eye.
A bang sounds again.
"Let's go up there." I suggest.
"What? Nobody goes in the study!" Marshall shrieks.
"So?"
"Really? I don't what to."
"Oh come on, it will be fun!"
"No it won't, what happens if my dad cones home and chat find me? I'll get told off."
"Stop worrying, I'm going whether your not, Harry, you coming?"
Harry nods.
"Fine, I'll come but not for to long!" Marshall gives in.
We all get up and make our way to the stairs. Annie is no where to be seen.
Slowly we take a step at a time.
"This is the bit in the horror movie where the music with tension starts to play." Harry laughs from behind.
I just roll my eyes. But I stop, causing the others to stop because I'm in front, because Marshall has decided to play some creepy music on his phone.
The kind that would fit perfectly in a horror movie. But this isn't a film, it's life!
"Seriously Marshall, turn it off." I whine.
Finally we make it to the first door directly opposite the stairs. I turn the knob and the door clicks open.
We begin to walk into the pitch black room and Harry flicks on a torch.
I walk in further but I'm greeted to a hand coming round from behind me and covering my mouth stopping me from talking and in dragged into darkness!
