"Well I defiantly don't want to go out there with ghost 'Williams great uncle'!" George laughs as he leans back onto the brown fence separating us and the ghost. "He will attack us! Even if ghosts can attack people." He says slowly and with a confused look on his face.
"It's not so bad in here." I say.
"Yeah, it's not like that thing can transport ghosts into here!" George laughs nervously.
"Erm, that is kinda what it does. Well with this house." William randomly says.
Me and my brother sharply turn to William who is looking straight at the pentagram.
"What?!" we say in unison.
"Well think about it, how did we get here in the first place." William makes a point.
"True. And I did hear the same scream I heard when I was out on a hack, when I got half attacked." I stand up straight.
"What do you mean 'half attacked?" George asks me.
"Well I was only scratched." I tell him.
"But anyway, back to the point." William says. "The ghosts have been using a telepathic way or whatever it's called. You know what I mean. And I definitely didn't help drag you two out here earlier."
"But what about the first time we all randomly ended up in the forest." I ask.
"Well, actually I told a little bit of a lie. Me and Ben were coming to your house to get something, he wanted to go into the basement to get his old journal, I think he wanted to burn it!" William tells me.
Note to myself: find Harry the find the journal!
Scared, yes. Feared, I still don't have a fear, definitely not a fear of ghost, they're just people, well dead people, escaped souls basically, living in the real world.
But this is quite frightening and it's real, I've said it before and I'll say it again, but I just haven't got my head around it yet, and I suppose I never will really, I wonder how William fought his brain. But I will never know because I don't know what it's like that see people that's aren't there. The ghosts in my house don't count, oh and nor do Aaron and Rose, I knew there was something wrong with her the day I met her.
Although why did William lie? He could of just asked for the journal, I would of let him, it's not mine. Maybe he really wanted to go down to the basement as well. I would off if a family member told me I could, I would. But instead they help me, he helped my family, but he helped Harry, who is his best friend so of course he would.
Everything goes silent. Blood bumps through my body quicker and quicker, my heart beats faster and faster. I need to calm down. I am not scared. I am not scared. But of course I am, Becca face the fact, your scared and there is nothing you can do about it, you might not have a main fear but it doesn't mean you're completely fearless!
Calm down, calm your self, it's okay, it will all be okay. I breath in and out, inhale, exhale. I will not have a panic attack when I know how to calm myself down, I know who to make my heart beat slower. Inhale, exhale. My blood bumps slower and slower, my heart beat gets calmer and calmer. See, that wasn't so hard.
"Becs?" William clicks his fingers in front of my face causing me to snap out if my thoughts.
"Huh, what?" I blink.
"I said should we go out now, I can't hear him anymore." William says.
"Oh right okay, then." I stand up, I hadn't realised I actually sat down, I must of.
William flicks the hatch to open the gate, he peers out, there is no hope or gap so we can't see through, and the whole fence is so much taller than all of us.
He pokes his head round the gate then looks back at us shaking his head. Charles is no where to be seen.
I step in front of my brother and wait for William to exit first and when he does I follow him with George close behind.
I look the floor when I walk. Suddenly William stops and I bump into him.
"William who the he-" I slowly look up to see a angry looking ghost facing us.
His dark brown hair scruffy, his eyes glaring at us, his jaw tight and his fists clenched, his nose screwed up in anger and there is only one thing for us to do.
"Run!" I shout out and we do.
