( thank you for all the reads! I will try to update as soon as I can. But when I get internet! Sorry!)
That is all I can say. Harry with anger issues. I didn't see that one coming. And they both look fine. William doesn't look insanely mad and Harry defiantly doesn't look angry.
"Yeah, wow." William agrees.
We stop dead track and Harry turns William's wheelchair around and begins to walk, I follow.
"C'mon" Harry urges me to keep up.
"Alright, I'm coming." I skip.
We walk down the long dark corridor towards the room was staying in. I really need to go see if my mum's awaken yet.
We reach where the circle formed before me, Harry and William went off. No one's there. Instead doctors are surrounding a old man lying unconscious on a bed in the middle of the corridor. A wheelchair abandoned next to the wall and a worried blonde hair woman with her two twin boys either side of her.
William tries to get up off his wheelchair. Harry see's whats happening and pushes the wheelchair forward with William still sitting.
"Granddad?" William wheelchair next to the bed in the middle of the corridor.
William puts his hand on his grandfathers lap. A little tear forms and falls from his eye.
"He fainted. Our best guess until we've done more tests is his old age." A doctor tells Harry.
"What do we do?" William asks wiping the tear.
"We are going to take him for some tests then we will get back to you, we will see if there's anything major. You can take a seat in the waiting room." The doctor tells us.
Harry and William nod as they take the old man lying on the bed off to get some test. Poor Ben. Well after all he is 111, well near that age. We walk off to the waiting room across the hall from us. We each take a seat nearest to the door. There is someone else in the room. Someone familiar but I just can't get my head around it. He is a large man. With a stubble and very short hair. I swear i've seen him before but I don't know.
We drive through the lane to go look at our potentially new house, south lane house. From the pictures on the internet it looks beautiful. We had to just go see it!
The car roughly rides through the bumpy road before you reach the new house. A small lane, only big enough for one car. Tree's and bushes surround us. There I see a couple. Around the age of 40. They peer out of one of the bushes. Their eyes narrow. The woman rather small and thin. Her mousy bob behind her ears. And the man, who could be her husband, a large man with short brown and grey hair with a stubble behind her. It looks like they're spying on us. Who are they? And why are they here?
Now
Thats who he is! The man who spied on us when we went to look at the house. We make eye contact and he looks away straight away.
"What are you here for?" I ask.
Harry looks at me sharply and with a odd look. I know its rude but I kind of know him.
"My wife. She broke her leg. You?" He quietly and nervously replys.
"My mum, my cousins friend and his grandfather." I point to William.
Everyone looks at me.
"You know I am don't you?" The man asks.
"No." I lie.
"I used to own the house you live in now."
"Thought so. Why did you leave?" I know the answer.
"It was- we found another house." He lies.
He does the same thing as William, he blinks twice when he lies. I'm very good at noticing.
"I know its haunted."
"Oh."
"Why didn't you show us around?"
"Because of the ghosts."
"Why didn't anyone say it was haunted then, you're meant to aren't you?"
"Yeah. But ask her. She's the estate agent."
"Don't bring me into this Blake! Anyway you wanted to sell your house so you could buy that new cottage!" Layla snaps.
The waiting room door opens and a doctor walks in. We all stare at her.
"Blake Smith? Your wife's ready. If you can sign some papers then you are free to leave." She tells him.
Blake waves at us and then leaves. Then another doctor walks through the same double door. Again we all look up at him this time.
"You all here for Benjamin Thomas?" He ask.
We all nod.
"Come this way please." He says.
We all follow him to a smaller room on the other side of the corridor. There we see Ben lying there. He is extremely pale. Harry wheels William towards the bed and we all step out. Layla walks in with the boys leaving me and Harry leaning against the wall outside the room.
After about 5 minutes all four of them walk out, they have obviously been crying. Williams eyes are bloodshot and his cheeks still wet. He had a good relationship with his grandfather.
"He's asking for Harry." Layla tells us.
Harry walks into the room. 2 minutes later he comes out. He nods at me.
"He needs to talk to you." He tells me.
I walk in the room and Ben stares at me. I look behind me and see Harry standing in the door way.
"Hey." I say.
"Hello Becca. Come closer." His voice is quiet and shaky.
He's weak.
"I need to tell you something. You must not tell William."
I nod.
"Well, I have cancer and i'm dying. In the next few minutes I will be dead. Oh and i'm not William grandfather. I have to make this quick but I'm his great grandfather. His grandfather went missing after the last time he went in your house. Strange, right?"
I nod and a tear falls from my eyes. I may have only met this man a few hours ago but it fells like years and I'm not good with deaths.
"And there is something else about the house... That you nee-" he stops, he take a deep breathe in.
His voice is quieter and weaker and even more shaky. No.
"There is something you need to know about the house, Joh....-" he slowly closes his eyes.
The beeping on the machine has turned into one long beep. He's dead.
"No! No! Ben? What? John what? What I do I need to know?" I almost yell.
"Typical." Harry sighs.
