Chapter 5

5:45am

I clocked out, wiping sweat from my brow and grabbed my keys and wallet.
I went to the car and started it up and headed home. Donna was up getting ready for school. For some reason she had been doing more to her look recently.
I went upstairs and got undressed and went straight for the shower. 13 hours of lifting metal and stacks of wood can take it's toll on you.
After the shower I was so exhausted, I fell asleep 30 seconds after I laid down.

•1 week later•
"C'mon... follow me." Angelique said, voice echoing and wearing a gold robe, walking through the house toward our room, guiding me. We finally landed on our bed, which appeared to be gold colored. She began to lick my neck as her eyes rolled to the back of her head. "Come fuck me." her voice echoed. I went inside of her, and she screamed my name. Her warm, smooth body rubbed against mine. Her soft, sexy moans were in my ear and she clawed my back. I breathed faster and faster until she screamed and made me bust all inside of her.

"Babyyyyy." Angelique's voice said, waking me up.
" Yeah?" I said, sleepily.

"That was amazing." She sighed. "Feels like it's been forever.
"I know right?" I said, putting on boxers, Sweat shorts, a t-shirt and sneakers. "So, I still planned on taking the kids to the mall with Symphony today, you still work right?"
"Yep." She said, making eye contact with me. She looked so sexy naked and wrapped in the sheets with her hair messy and falling all over her shoulders.
"Mm you so beautiful." I said and kissed her, then walked out of the room. "Princess!" I called.
"Down here!" She called from downstairs.
"Ready?"
"All ready." She said and followed me toward the door. I paused and grabbed snacks out of the pantry then left out to the car, locking the door behind me.
I drove 10 minutes and went and picked up Symphony and Trenton.
"Hey Dad!" Trenton said.
"Sup." I replied.
"So where are we going?" He said as Symphony got in the car.
"You'll see." I said and pulled out a drive way. I smiled at Symphony as she chuckled and rolled her eyes.
"So what's been new with you Kee?" She asked as we drove on the highway. Trenton and Donna had their headphones in.
"Nothing really. Same old same old. What about you?"
"Same old same old." She mimicked.
"How's 'Terell'? " I asked and chuckled.
"Why the air quotes around Terrell?"
"He's just an interesting character is all." I smiled.
"Right. He's fine." She smiled. I nodded, then looked over at her chocolate body, from her small feet, to her thighs then up to her eyes. She smirked and looked away.
12 minutes later we pulled in to Big Kahuna's. The kids celebrated in the back and raced out of the car as soon as we parked. I popped the trunk. Trenton and Donna grabbed their bags and went to the bathrooms to get dressed. I grabbed me and Symphony's bag.
After we got dressed we went down this tall ass water slide that ended with you sliding into a pool, more water rides, then went to a regular pool area. Trenton and Donna played on an opposite side and Symphony and I floated on the other, her on a flotation device and me on my back. I looked over at her in her bright yellow bikini and pitch black sunglasses.
"You should really go underwater with me."
"Nope. I am not messing up my hair."
"I should tip you over for saying that." I chuckled. " Your bikini looks nice. Yellow looks good on you."
" Thank you. And I like your trunks. Black brings so much alive." She said. I sucked my teeth, held my breath and went underwater. I squatted down and looked up, seeing her floating. I bumped her floater from below and I her her muffled scream. I smiled.
"Kyjuan I swear if you make me fall in the water!" She screamed. I grabbed the sides of her floater and tipped it and she splashed into the water with a scream. I swam up and went to a shallower end to stand and squeeze the water out of my hair while laughing. She swam after me and stood next to exhaling and wiping water from her face.
"You're such and asshole you know that?" She chuckled. A wave came by from the machines on the perifery of the pool, making us both stumble but she stumbled more because of her size. She began into my torso as I stood across from her.
"Oh!" I said quickly, catching her in my arms, below my face. We paused for a second. I pulled her hair away from sticking to her face and wiped some water away. "Kinda almost... fell there." I said, looking at her eyes. She looked back and breathed.
"Yeah.. uh thanks." She smirked. After a second she stood up. "I'm gonna go dry off." She said softly.
"Yeah let's go." I said. When we got to our things, I checked the time. We had been here for about 5 hours. I felt bad because Donna was probably going to be the only one with sunburn.
I whistled for the kids to wrap it up as I dried off and changed in a bathroom back to my normal clothes, leaving my hair damp. Everyone did the same, I pretended I didn't see Syphony stare at my curly hair drenched in water and more water dripped down my torso.
On the car ride home, Symphony and I rested our arms on the arm rest, hands directly next to each other. We both repeatedly glanced from the side of our eyes at our hands being so close. I moved my fingers a bit and Angelique's beautiful face popped into my head. I sighed and scratched my head.
"Well it's your 2 weeks now, Trenton goes with you. Thank you for dropping me off Kee."
"Of course." I said and hugged her." Give me a call." She nodded and got out of the car. I pulled out and went to the house. As I was pulling in, Mona sat on her porch and flagged me down.
"Who's that lady Dad?" Donna asked.
"An old friend of mine. Not sure what she wants though. Go inside you guys, I'll bring your things in." I said, turning the car off. They went inside.
I got out and walked toward her.
"What's up Mona?" I said, nodding at her.
"Needed to talk to you. Your wife does work correct?"
"Uh yeah?"
"And you've been gone all day right?"
"Yeah?"
"I don't know how to put this and I don't know when she leaves to work but, at about 2 something somebody came here. Some tall black guy around your size, and he was here for a while didn't leave until maybe 4:30 or 5, then she left shortly after." She said. My heart dropped.
" W--w-wait, that's all wrong, Angelique leaves about 11 to 11:30 every day she works what do you mean 2 to 5 she was still here? 5 was only about an hour ago you're telling me she only left an hour ago?" I said, heart beating fast and almost thumping out of my chest.
" I don't know Kyjuan, you might want to talk to her. Didn't seem like... a normal thing to me. I'm sorry for being a peeping Tom, but the lady is not good at hiding things. She left all of the blinds open for one, so I couldn't make up how the lady pranced around in a pink lace bra and thong set in front of this shirtless man." She rolled her eyes. My body was hot with anger. Then I chuckled.
"Mona, you gotta stop this." I shook my head.
"This what? I'm just trying to help you out." She scoffed.
"This, trying to ruin my marriage for whatever scheme you have brewing in your head. You can just forget it!" I said.
"From the looks of things your marriage is already ruined. Everything that glitters ain't gold Kee." She said, turning around and walking into her house. I scowled and went inside mine and got dinner started for the kids.
I went to the sink, cleaning out dishes. I paused. I saw 2 wine glasses on a saucer. It wasn't just 2 glasses, only one had her hot pink colored lipstick on it. She might've just drank a cup when she got up and drank another after she got all dressed. Then another thing hit me. The fact that she never used more than one dish for the same drink, she just reuses the one she was using. Hell, she probably didn't wanna do things the same today. I shrugged it off and cleaned the dishes.
"New rule, no phones at the dinner table." I said after a long silence of them sitting on their phones while eating. They whined and put them in the middle of the table. "Now, how are things going in school?"
"I officially become co-captain on Monday and I scored one of the highest test scores for math on Friday." Donna said. I held up my hand for a high five.
"Why didn't you go for captain sweetie?" I said.
"You have to be an upperclassmen to be Captain so I have to wait until I'm in 11th next year."
"Well whatever you are, I'm proud of you. What about you Trent?"
" Trenton has a girlfriend." Donna said, sing-songy.
"Shut up." He rolled his eyes.
"That's what's up man, what's her name?" I said.
"Alexandria." He said. I gave his 'the eyes'. He chuckled and nodded.
"Word. That's good." I smiled.
"Yeah Dad she is so fine you have no idea." He said. Donna looked disgusted. I laughed and nodded.
After dinner, they took showers and went to bed after I made sure they did all their work and junk for school. I took a long hot shower to get what Mona said out of my head, seeing as it was another lately working night.
I shook the water out of my hair and wrapped a towel around me then picked my hair out and brushed my teeth. I dried off, put on lotion and boxers and laid down.

ME: miss you, thinking of you

I sighed and sat my phone down. Why'd Mona have to say all that though. Then one thing she said clicked. Her pink laced thongs and bra...how would she know about her underwear?
I stared into space thinking as my phone buzzed.

Angie: thinking of you too.. rough nite

ME: I understand..can I make it easier💦

Angie: not really in the mood baby.. just tired💋

I squinted and sat my phone down. Since when?
"2 to 5." Mona's voice rang in my ear. Angelique was never not horny unless she'd been doing it a lot that day... and we only had sex once this morning and she goes back to back on any given day. Calm down Kyjuan it was probably just stressful today.
I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed. What the fuck.
