Chapter 2 : She Can't Swim

"Good morning babe, or should I say good afternoon?" He laughed and I turned around to face him.

"What are you doing here?" I said in all smiles and hug him. I missed his scent.

"Nothing I just missed you. You were away for two weeks and it nearly killed me." He joked and combs my hair.

"I miss you too, you should've come with us." I sulked, and he pinched my nose.

"How long will you be here?" I asked and slowly pulled away from his embrace and prepare myself a coffee. "Do you want anything?"

"I'm fine." He said. "You were asleep for too long, I'll be heading home around two. My brother will pick me up." I just nodded at him and went to the living room. He followed me there and we both sat on the couch.

We've never seen each other for two weeks and his sudden visit surprised me. "How did you get in?"

"Your parents are still here when I came. I waited for three hours before I heard the sound of your door and decided to hide and surprise you." He said enthusiastically.

"I thought it was from Serene's or your brother's room but luckily it was you who woke up first." I can't help but smile widely, I did miss him.

We played board games, we laughed as we watched a happy and romantic movie, ate lunch together and talked about my vacation and his in Ohio. I am lucky that he is the kind of guy who would prefer spending time together inside the house because that's also what I like.

I wouldn't realize that it was already two not until someone beeped outside. "I guess that is my brother." He said and place the remaining UNO cards in his hands back at the deck of cards.

"Too soon?" I pouted and he pulled me in for a tight hug.

"Don't be sad, you're acting as if that'll be the last time we're seeing each other." He said and kissed my forehead.

"We'll see each other soon right?" I asked and he nods. I was about to keep the cards we used, but I already saw Sean, my younger brother playing with it.

"I'll call you when I get home. I love you." He gives me a peck on the lips.

"Okay." I paused to stare at his grey eyes, something that I adore about him. "I love you too." I smiled at him.

Right after Ryan called saying they arrived safely, I started yawning and my eyes are becoming heavy.

I stand up and decided to go upstairs to my room when someone rings the doorbell.

I groaned as I marched back to the front door. I looked over the peephole and it revealed my favorite cousin, Henry.

I quickly turned the knob and rushed to him. Both of us squealed as we clapped our hands together. "Why are you here?!" I said in excitement and his face dropped.

"Are you saying that I should leave?" He then rolls his eyes at me. Yes, he's gay that's why we get along very well.

"Of course, not." I laughed. "Serene! Henry's here!" I yelled, hopefully, my voice is loud enough for Serene to hear it inside her room. "I'm just really surprised."

"So am I, would you mind if I step inside? It's so hot." He jokes, and I gestured for him to enter.

I heard quick footsteps going down the stairs. "Henry!" Serene screamed and our cousin went to her for a tight hug.

We spent an hour talking about nonsense stuff, we also laughed about how my little brother is acting weird from watching too many children's vlogs on Youtube.
