"Elise! Wake up!" My mom knocks on my door and I roll over my bed to ignore her calls.

I suddenly hear the sound of keys from the other side of my room and I started covering my head with my blanket.

Later on, I hear the door creaks open and feel that someone is already sitting next to me on my bed, mom's slightly shaking me. "Elise wake up." She gives my butt a weak slap and I give up on hiding.

I removed the blanket on my face and stretched my arms. "What?" I ask before yawning.

"Jimin's downstairs waiting for you." My eyes that are sleepy before started widening as I heard Jimin's name.

I move on my left to find my phone that I hid under my pillow. I look at the time and it's already nine in the morning, my seven o'clock alarm didn't sound.

Jimin messaged me last night that his father agreed that we can interview him for our project, and since he's father's job is a little too far from here, he told me that we'll go at nine.

But here I am, still unprepared. "Okay, tell him I'll be down in a minute," I said and jumped off of my bed.

"Make sure you grab some breakfast first before going out." I just nod at my mom's reminder even though I'm not sure if I have enough time to do what she said.

I enter the bathroom with my towel, I stripped quickly and let the cold water wash over me.

I did my things as fast as I can and grab a decent cloth inside my wardrobe.

A white sleeveless shirt, a dark blue denim jacket, a pair of washed jeans, and white Keds.

I have to look presentable, I'm meeting Jimin's dad and I don't know what he's like.

I grab my bag and shove some pens and paper inside before going down with a comb in my hand.

I stopped at my tracks as I saw an annoyed Jimin at the end of the stairs. He's wearing a white long-sleeved blouse and some of his tattoos are quite visible from the thin fabric, a cream-colored short, making his legs visible for the first time, another pair of different white shoes and round sunglasses.

Wow.

"Good morning?" Instead of sounding like I greeted him, my statement seems like a question.

"What time is it?" He deadpans.

"I know, I'm sorry, my alarm didn't work." I continued walking down towards him and he still has that deadly glare behind his shades on me.

"C'mon we're gonna be late." He holds me on my arm and tries to pull me outside, but I try my best to resist.

"I still haven't eaten breakfast," I told him and I pout.

"We'll go to a drive-thru, eat inside my car." He instructs. "But don't make a mess." He adds a warning with a serious look on his face.

"Mom! We're going!" Before I can even see my mom, Jimin is already dragging me outside.

His luxurious car is parked outside our house, it's a 2018 Mazda Miata and I can't believe that I'm finally getting on it.

When I get in, the seat is pretty cozy and the scent of the car is somehow making me dizzy. Nevertheless, everything seems perfect. "Seatbelt," Jimin tells and I oblige.

"Where exactly is your father's work?" I ask as I put on my seatbelt.

"Sacramento."

My eyes pop at what he said. "What? That's almost a six-hour drive!" My voice raises.
