Chapter 12 : Intoxicated Woman

I had another sleepless night, and now that I can see light, it's probably already morning and if the night doesn't want me asleep then I'll just have to retrieve my energy by sleeping this morning.

That's what I thought not until someone banged on my door. "Go away!" I yelled. Mom and dad would never knock on my door like that, Sean can't bang the door that loud and all that's left is Serene.

"C'mon sis! I need your help!" She said through the other side of the door.

"You'll get my help after I gain sleep." I want to yell at her again but it turned out to be a murmur.

A few seconds passed and Serene finally gave up, I glance on the wall clock for a little while and it's only seven in the morning. Serene must be out of her mind, waking up early on Sunday when it's her favorite day to sleep for so long.

I close my sleepy eyes again in hopes that I can arrive in dreamland as soon as possible. But the trip crashed when the door opened. "Elise I need your help!" Serene barges inside my room and I grabbed a pillow to cover my ears.

I feel her sit down on my bed and she pulled the blankets off of me then she started holding my waist to shake me in an attempt of waking me up.

She's doing a great job at annoying me because it's really working. "What?!" I groaned.

"I'm going out with someone today, and I don't know how to wear makeup." She admits and I mentally rolled my eyes at her.

"Go to Youtube, you may leave now." I scoffed and went back on hugging a pillow, but then my sister snatched it from me. "What is it that you want?" This time I'm really pissed, I sit on my bed as I glare at her.

"Can you do my makeup?" There's a cheeky smile on her face, and she keeps blinking her eyes rapidly to convince me.

Minutes passed and I found myself in front of the mirror with Serene inside my room. "So where are you going?" I deadpanned as I apply a light blush on her cheeks.

I sometimes envy my younger sister, she's not that skinny unlike me but she managed to rock it. Her blue eyes are really unique and it makes me want it, lucky for her that her eyesights aren't damaged like mine. Her lips are really plump and if I were a boy I would admit to her that she's hot, but I'll never tell that to her, she'll just use it to brag herself to others.

Why would I envy her if I'm the one with a boyfriend? Yes, it's her first time to go out with someone, and it really surprises me because she finally entertained a suitor. I thought all she can do is to gush over a guy, but now she's making a move. She's finally an adult lady, and I'm really proud.

That guy better treats her right.

"We'll go to church first." She explains and I stared at her intensely. "What?" She asks.

"Are you dating a pastor?" I joke and she laughs.

"He's the opposite of that. I'm actually the one who requested to go to church first and he hated it."

"Who's the lucky guy?"

"You'll see, he'll pick me up later." She says and I continued applying magic onto her already pretty face.

After finishing my job with her, I know that I can't go back to sleep, I went down the kitchen to grab any edible stuff to make for breakfast.

There's another sticky note on the refrigerator that says Sean is with mom and dad, and they went out.

Great, I'll have the house on my own for today. While pouring down some cereals on my bowl, Serene dropped by and started showing off her outfit to me. She's wearing a crop top and track pants with a pair of white shoes. If she tries to wear the dress I wore for Hoseok's party, men will definitely have their mouths drooling on her.
