Jimin arrived inside the room when I was busy scribbling notes on a paper and he took the seat next to mine.

It's our first encounter for today and as I studied the look on his face he seems really happy.

"What's up?" He's smiling from ear to ear which is quite cute.

"Guess what? Hoseok's throwing a party for me." He beams. Sometimes I'm starting to think that his outer appearance is a mask for a ten-year-old Jimin.

"He must be out of his mind then," I said before looking at my notes again.

Later on, Mrs. Feinberg arrived and without any second delays, she started the class immediately.

After another boring class with our very scary professor, I noticed that Jimin is surprisingly quiet.

Unlike the moment he entered the room, he was all giddy and now he looks like he's about to attend a burial mass.

"Hey Jimin!" I run after him when he walks out of the room. He turns around upon hearing my voice. "What's wrong?" I stopped running.

"Nothing, I'll see you tomorrow." He says and we that he leaves me alone inside the halls.

What's with him?

When I reached my lockers to grab my books for my next class, someone jokingly pulled my hair and it worked on getting my attention. "Lana." I hissed.

"So what are you going to wear tonight?" She bites her lower lip in anticipation and I raise my brow in return.

"Tonight? Is it purge night or something?" I said as I close my locker and lock it.

She gives me two double snaps in front of my face which made me jolt in surprise as soon as I faced her before she speaks.

"Earth to Elise, it's October thirteen!" She raises her voice.

"Okay?" I say slowly. "What's with Satan's day?" My nose scrunches and my forehead furrows at the same time in confusion.

"Really? Argh!" She groans. We both walked our ways before she continued. "It's Jimin's birthday you idiot."

I stopped at my tracks and Lana did the same as we looked into each other's eyes.

"For real?" I ask and she nods.

"Hoseok's throwing a party for him. It's a costume party." She informs and my mouth opens wide in a sudden realization.

"Why? What's wrong?" Lana asks.

"Jimin told me that Hoseok's throwing a party for him."

"And?"

"I told him that Hoseok must be out of his mind," I admitted before scratching the back of my head.

"You didn't even greet him a damn happy birthday!" She sounds frustrated.

"I didn't know!" I defended.

Lana pulls me back to the direction of the lockers' area. "Put your things back, we'll go shopping." She orders and without any choices left I obliged.

When we arrived at a mall, Lana keeps dragging me to different boutiques.

"You said it'll be a costume party," I said to her when she's gracefully picking on a very short dress.

"Yep, and I'm playing Ariana Grande." She winks at me. It's impossible for her to look like Ariana. Lana's hair is styled into a square cut.

"Okay then," I said. Whatever she wants, she can have it.
