Tomorrow is going to be Thanksgiving and my mom asked for my help in the kitchen for lunch. She's starting to make a dish that I do not know. I'm actually dumbfounded that she asked for my help even though I only know how to cook sausages.

Oh and egg rolls.

"Sweetie, do you know where will Jimin be at Thanksgiving tomorrow?" Mom asked me while she's mixing something inside the bowl.

"Oh, I don't know," I say as my shoulders went down. I forgot to ask Jimin yesterday about that.

The last part of our date is not that enjoyable. Witnessing someone who is degrading and mistreating an old lady was not fun to watch. I'm really glad that Jimin helped the poor lady, though I thought he was just going to watch it and let the saleslady continue being rude towards the old lady.

"Why don't you go and ask him?" She tells me as she gestures that I should get the chopping board on my side and I hand it to her.

"Sure." I squeaked and I headed out of the kitchen to go upstairs to my room to get my phone.

But when my eyes traveled across my window, I decided to just come over at Jimin's house without any warnings. He can call it a surprise visit if he wants to.

I hurriedly went downstairs and aimed at the front door of our house. When I opened the door, I bumped onto dad who just came home from work and my overwrought actions got him bamboozled.

"Where are you going?" He questions me.

"Next doors," I said in a giddy manner, and without hearing his next words to me, I went straight ahead to Jimin's house.

I ring the doorbell, and when a minute already passed and no one answering, I pressed the doorbell continuously. It worked and Jimin who is halfway on wearing a shirt opened the door with a glowering look.

My eyes then traveled down to his muscles and tattoos, but he covers the rest of his top and tough body part with the black shirt on his shoulders once he noticed that I'm staring down to him a little too long. "Elise, what brings you here?" He asks. He sounds like he's in a bad mood.

"Are you busy? I can just go back." I said in an uneasy tone.

"What is it?" He rests his arms on the side of his doorway and I flinched when he did. It's like he's trying to come at me, but I'm just overthinking things.

Why am I like this whenever I'm in front of him?

"Mom was asking if you would like to spend Thanksgiving with us tomorrow." I started and twisted some of the words that mom said. "That is if you haven't yet made plans for tomorrow," I added.

"Sure." I waited for him to say something else, but when I realized that he's not going to say more I speak up.

"Sure what?" I know what he means, but I just want to stay longer.

"I'll be at your house tomorrow evening." He clarifies and my lips widen as it forms a cheeky smile.

"Okay, see you then. I'll get going." I waved at him and he only nods, his lips are still forming a straight line towards me and it's bothering.

When I was walking back home and I heard Jimin's door close at my back I finally dropped the fake smile and euphoric act. I looked back once again at Jimin's house with a huge frown before marching my way back home.

What's wrong with him?

Once I reached the living room, I grumpily sat on the couch and my eyes darted to the television that plays an episode of Tom and Jerry. I groaned before looking at my side and I saw the remote control.
