At first, mom and dad were obviously shocked at what happened to my face. They actually wanted to go to the campus' office and complain about it, but I stopped them beforehand.

I don't want my own parents to cause another scene at the campus just because of what happened to me.

Serene heard the news from Jungkook and she was ireful about it. She literally wants to smack Bethany. I'm glad my sister felt the same way.

If I was there, I'd cut her head off first.

Those were her words when I came home and it was something that made me laugh that day.

Today, my scars are still not healing but it's almost there, that's why I still have to use bandages to cover the marks and scratches on my face. The bruises on my back are starting to fade, and I'm glad that it's slowly disappearing because whenever I lean on a chair in a classroom, it would cause me a lot of pain. My lips are getting better thanks to the lip creme that my mom bought me to treat it.

My parents are surprisingly taking care of me better because of what happened, they even let me chose a dish that I wanted for dinner and I chose a soup that both of my siblings hated.

They also bought me contact lenses instead of eyeglasses. They insisted that it's time I use contacts so that they would no longer worry about broken eyeglasses.

Serene and I have to go to school now, but then mom stopped us before stepping out of the doorway.

She gave Serene and I lunch boxes which freaked out the both of us. "Mom, we're college students." My sister said, her eyebrows furrowed.

"I know, I just don't want you to fall in line for so long before getting a meal." My mom explains as she scratches the front of her arm.

"Yeah, that sounds nice. Thanks, mom." I kissed her on the cheek before going out, and sooner Serene follows outside.

"You could've been more polite," I told her once she got inside. She ignored what I said, and I'm used to it.

We were on the road in an early hour and I'm really thankful that Serene had the decency to wake up early and move faster this morning.

Suddenly, while I was driving she hands me the lunch box that mom made for her. "Why are you giving that to me?" I ask.

"Jungkook and I are going to a lunch date outside." She says, my eyes are still focused on the road.

"So?"

"Take it."

"I already have one." I ignored her until we reached the campus. Since we're early I don't have to go and find a good parking space because the parking lot is not that full right now.

"Thanks for the ride sis," Serene says before getting out of my car. Her sudden gratefulness surprised me. All I did was smile and nod at her before she closes the door and left.

I turned off the engine and when I hopped out I noticed something on the shotgun seat.

Serene left her lunch box.

I rolled my eyes and grab it.

"Hey Lana, do you want free lunch?" I asked her once we walked together to the direction of the cafeteria.

"Why?" She asks back, I hurry and bring the lunch boxes out of my bag.

"My mom made them," I tell her and hands her Serene's. "My sister doesn't want it and I'm afraid that mom will get sad because of it."
