Tell me again why I agreed to watch this movie with Jimin?
Before agreeing with him, I just gave him both of the tickets and he accepted it, yet he let me watch him throw it in the trash.
It kinda hurts to see my money being thrown off by someone rather than myself.
The mall is freaking cold and we're already twenty minutes late to the movie. "Really?" He scowls at me the moment he realized what movie is on the ticket.
"What's wrong with it?"
"'Where'd You Go, Bernadette?' You obviously wasted money." He rolls his eyes and I did the same. What complaining rights does he have? He's actually the one who offered me this, and it's making me really regretful about my decision.
If Ryan is with me right now he is probably praising me on how good I was for picking a movie. He always does that... perhaps out of kindness.
At least he knows how to handle it unlike Jimin and he is being a complete jerk. "Are you sure you wanna watch this?" He gives me a disgusted look.
"With you, I don't want to anymore." I huffed and cross both of my arms in front of my chest out of frustration towards this man. "I'll just go find a restroom then bring me back to school," I informed him, and before he can even say a thing I get on my heels and find the nearest restroom.
As soon as I found one I gave my face a splash of water. It's a habit of mine whenever I'm annoyed or irritated.
I wonder how's Ryan doing right now. It's only been an hour when he left, I doubt if he's already at the airport.
I want to call him but I think he's driving and it's not a good option.
I sighed and grabbed my face towel to dab my face with.
Now that school has finally started I thought Ryan and I will be able to spend time a lot.
Today's not going well, the fact that Ryan and I planned to watch a movie today was canceled, Ryan's off to Ohio and my dumbass thought it'll be a good idea to watch it with Jimin instead of throwing the tickets.
Jimin.
I heave a deep sigh as I remember him. He's probably waiting out there.
I fix my stuff inside my bag and walk out of the restroom to go back to him.
My eyes scan the last spot where Jimin was but he isn't there.
I started to panic because I don't have a ride back to school if he had the decency to bail me.
Instead of overthinking, I tried to look harder for him and just like a miracle I saw him a few meters away from me and he's talking on the phone.
I wait for him to end the call, and he did seconds later. His eyes searched for me and when it met mine he smiled.
He looks like an angel from afar. Looks can be deceiving and there's no way in hell that I'll be deceived.
"Can we go back to school now?" I groan at him the moment he's only a few steps away from me.
To my surprise, he gets ahold of my one hand using his left hand and places money on it with his right. "What are these for?" I curiously ask.
He pulled me closer which caught me off guard and then he brings his face near my neck. "I want you to do things for me." He whispers and my body is getting hot even though the mall is freezing.
I gather back my senses and pull away from him, "No way. Do you think I'm a whore who does things for men in exchange for money?" I huff, clearly in disbelief with this guy.
I thought he was about to convince me more or about to fire back but he laughs. "What's so funny?" I raise an eyebrow at him.
"Those are your tickets. I was just kidding." He continued laughing. I check the money on my hand and count it.
It's exactly the amount that I spend on movie tickets. "How?" I'm speechless.
"Refund is a trend." He briefly replies and I don't believe him. It's rare to find a cinema that still accepts refunds, it's not possible.
"No, it isn't. Why?"
"You said you don't want to watch it, so do I. Might as well get your money back." Here I am thinking that he's pure evil, yet he managed to do something good for me.
"How did you do that?"
"Charms are powerful." He winks at me then he laughs, I roll my eyes at him. I know he has the bragging rights for his looks, but I'm just annoyed with him.
I want to ask, who's on the phone with him earlier but I do not want to sound a little nosey.
The drive back to school took twenty minutes because of traffic.
I still have two classes to attend, if I'll make it there on time. "Thanks for the ride and the refund." I sheepishly said.
"No problem, I guess you now owe me something." He smirks and I almost shove him back the money he gave me.
He's asking for something in return now and it's not fair. "Whatever." I roll my eyes at him and I thought he was about to say something but he just chuckles. "I'll go now."
My stomach churns at the idea of me having something to repay him.
It's really stupid of me thinking that he did it out of kindness, but there's definitely something behind that small act of him.
I arrive at my second to the last class a few minutes before it can start. The room is already full leaving me no choice but to seat on the empty chair at the back.
Our professor comes exactly on time. Mrs. Feinberg started blabbering about numbers and mathematical signs.
I start paying attention when she diverts her attention to the back door where I am sitting next to. "It's the first day of classes and you're late Mr. Park?" She scoffs and my pupils dilate at the mentioned name.
I look at the guy standing on the doorway. "Not that I intend to. I guess this will be my favorite class this semester." Jimin smirks and then he looks down at me.
