It's like I'm with new people.

He's not Namjoon, there's no Jin and no savage Yoongi. Smiley Hoseok is gone and Jimin is silent. Taehyung is literally nowhere near us and there's no smug look on Jungkook's face.

Just because of one man.

Jimmy Park.

I'm in a very rusticated situation and I don't know how to act. If I should be me or someone else. Someone decent and not that smiling too much?

Someone sophisticated?

The utensils clanking are the only sound audible inside the dining hall not until Jimmy spoke.

"Taehyung is here right? I saw his car outside." All of them stilled and it's like they all went to full-on defense mode.

"He's not here." Hoseok took the courage and answer him with a lie.

"Really?" Jimmy asks him. "Then whose unfinished meal is that?" We all followed where the old man's eyes darted and my nose wrinkle as my lips form a straight line in frustration.

The plates that Taehyung and Lana used are still on the table. We forgot about it since they sat at the very end. Making it look like there's only more space on Jungkook's side instead of having a hole in the middle.

We all went silent and none of us dared to answer the man.

"Your cooking is improving Seokjin." He compliments as he tastes the same crab dish that I took. I sighed as he himself changed the topic.

"Thank you, sir." All that's left for Seokjin is to bow down to him just to show his gratefulness. Is he some kind of king or something? Why are they like this in front of him?

He's nothing but a cheater.

Like you. My subconscious tells me.

"It's just salty and the crab meat is not that tender. Also, the sauce is watery." He says with disgust on his face and when I turn to look at Seokjin he's very sad.

"That was very offensive sir," I speak up. All of their gazes are focused on me and I was quite unsure why I did that.

I just want to make this old man's mouth shut. He's telling mean things to Seokjin. What he said was contrary to what the dish really tastes like. As for the sauce, it supposed to be watery, not thick.

"I think I know you, young lady." He tells me.

"Jimin and I went to your office in Sacramento before for a project," I informed him and he nods slowly.

"So, you're still toying her son?" He asks as he slices the meat on his plate.

The words he blurted out made me confused, but I know he's just making things up.

"Oh, just shut up." Jimin stood up in anger and threw his utensils on the table.

He walked away and without further ado, I followed him outside of the dining, but this house is too big and I'm unfamiliar with it. I don't know where to start on finding Jimin.

But when I saw a shadow near the front door, I immediately looked to see who it is. It's Jimin, he's leaning over the doorway.

When I moved closer I can smell smoke that came from cigarettes and I was surprised.

"So, you smoke now?" I ask and stood next to him.

"I really want to bury him alive." He said and his jaws clench. I laughed at his statement.

I unconsciously snatched the cigarette on his hand and tried it. My action caught him off guard. Once I hit on the cigarette, I started coughing and Jimin removed it from my hand as he throws it away.
