"Are you filming a drama or something?" I can see Yoongi twitching the side of his lips despite my clouded eyeglasses.I sniffed before standing up and he adjusts the place of the umbrella. I push it slightly to him so that he'll stop getting soaked in the rain as well.
"I'm sorry that you got wet because of me." I apologized. "This is stupid."
"I'm glad you're aware that you're sitting here when there's a covered shelter near you." He points at a waiting shed as he retaliates.
"It's really stupid." He smirks and adds.
"What are you doing here anyway?" I said as I wipe the tears on my face and rub my eyeglasses with my fingers so that I can see better before putting it back on.
"Who doesn't love a walk in the rain?" He asks me.
"A normal person." I grimaced at him and he rolls his eyes.
"How about you? Where are you going?"
"Home. I need to rest." I silently said as I scratch my arm and lie to Yoongi about the 'rest' part.
We started walking towards a shaded area, my shoes are already dirty because the water already pooled the pavement.
Sucks to be wearing white rubber shoes.
As soon as we arrived at the waiting shed near us, we sat on the bench and let the wind that was caused by the rain dry us off.
I look down and watch the droplets of the rain hit the ground in an aggressive manner. The weather is just too strong.
"How was the presentation?" Yoongi asks which made me divert my attention to him.
"It was almost... perfect." I sighed.
"What particular aspect of your presentation ruined it?" He asks while wiping the water off of his wristwatch, which I believed is waterproofed because the hands are still ticking.
"Jimin," I stated.
He came late and I actually thought that he wasn't even going to show up because of what happened last night. He cursed at me, told me that he's done playing nice to me and because of that I thought I might not be able to see him ever again since he'll start avoiding me, and he's good at it. He already proved that to me the first time he did it. I'm not really sure about what I think of him, but I'm pretty confused as hell. That's why I asked him to be my secret and obviously, he declined my offer because even I, know it's never going to work out that way.
"He came late." I continued. My head is good at speaking with thoughts but my mouth is grappling with blurting out more words.
"Really? For how many minutes?"
"Around fifteen to twenty." I tap my shoes on the cement continuously as I hum a melody inside my head. "Oh god, it's freezing." I shivered and hugged myself as the strong wind blows to us.
"Wanna get coffee?" He offers.
"Don't you have classes to attend?" I ask back, not bothering to answer his question.
"So do you am I right?" He raises an eyebrow.
"Okay then, my treat." I enunciated before he can argue about it. I should at least repay for his kind gestures for me today.
"That's music to my ears." We laughed for a bit before going back to the parking lot when we noticed that the weather is finally calming down.
I told him about my car being broken that's why I sat there while it's raining. He even offered to take my car to an automobile repair shop but I declined.
