Zendaya's POV

It's been two weeks since I sent that letter to the mystery fan. They seemed nice, I guess. From what I can gather, they're an intellectual who's pretty blunt. Who am I kidding? I have no clue who they are or what they're like. It's usually so easy to read people based off of one conversation. But if I'm being honest this is much less of a conversation.

Today, I'm going to be on set for the OA. I'm doing a short cameo appearance just to hold the fans over until Euphoria comes out. They're all so excited to see my work, and I'm excited for them to see it.

After work Tom and I are gonna have an at home date. I know a lot of people have a hunch that we're dating, and they're right. We are and have been for almost a year. We're having a lot of fun.

...

"What should we do for our anniversary?" I asked, laying on Tom's chest.

"Maybe we could tell the fans about us so we can have a proper date," Tom said.

"We have had a 'proper date'. Remember when we went to see Spider-Man? And then when you took me to that museum, in Italy," I pointed out.

"Yeah but those were with people, and we snuck into the cinema to see that. I want to take you out as my girlfriend, not my friend." I rolled my eyes.

"I don't want everyone in my business Tom. Unless we're gonna get serious I...I don't want to say anything. Okay?"

"I guess love. But one day I'll shout it from the rooftops how much I love my girl," Tom grinned.

"Aww I love you too," I cooed. I leaned up kissing his lips. His hands rose under my shirt, slightly cupping my breasts. He wrapped his arm around my back, unclipping my bra. I moaned into his lips, beginning to grind my hips into his.

"Isn't this lovely?" Darnell asked walking in with Noon. Tom and I groaned, getting off of each other. Tom fixed himself as I fixed my bra.

"You said, you wouldn't be home until four," I gritted.

"I did. I'm actually late cause it's five," Darnell said putting Noon on the floor. He darted over to me.

"Hi son," I said picking him up. I kissed all over his head and he reciprocated with tongue licks. "I missed you."

He barked in response. "The mail's on the counter Daya," Darnell said before going upstairs. I nodded not really paying attention.

"We never get to have time alone," Tom groaned.

"Tell you what? When we're both on break we'll go to England and just chill with each other at your place. Sound good?"

"Yeah. I can't wait for our next break." He kissed my cheek and got up. "I have to go love. Got to get up early tomorrow."

"Can't you stay for dinner? We can order take out," I pleaded.

"Sorry love. Maybe tomorrow." He kissed my lips one more time before leaving. I miss him already.

...

I looked at my phone for the time. Midnight. I sighed and wiped the sleep out of my eyes. I picked up Noon and went to turn the kitchen light off. Before I could I noticed another hot pink envelope in the pile of mail.

A smile instantly came to my face. They wrote back. I picked up the envelope and retired to my room. Why am I so excited? It's just a letter. I am curious, and I've been waiting a while.

I laid Noon at the foot of my bed, and sat up against the headboard. I turned on my lamp and started reading.

Dear Zendaya,

Wow, you actually wrote back. I didn't expect you to. I thought your pun was pretty fun if I do say so myself.

Thank you. I worked quite hard on it.

I swear, I'm not a creep in a basement. Just your average 22 year old in a house. I can't exactly tell you my name just yet. I've been advised not to. But for now you can call me Lou.

Lou, huh. That's really pretty. My guess is they're a girl.

If you don't mind me asking how's Noon? He's the cutest little puppy, and I hope to meet him one day. We should play a game to get to know each other. What do you suggest?

Much Love,
Lou❤️
